Mario's Tacos — Restaurant in San Antonio

Delicious tacos and burgers. Went 3 times the first week if trying this restaurant. Mini tacos were amazing and the French fries crispy and perfect. The third time we got the food to go and I was 3 tacos in to my plate when I but into a hard thing. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was about an inch long and a quarter inch wide and gray and curled into a circle with a crease in the middle length wise and some crusty cooked stuff on it. The only way I could describe it is a cooked meat abscess or cancer. I almost puked and all night long I was sick to my stomach. I couldn't finish eating. I will not be going back. My husband is a meat cutter and said it's very low quality meat to have that and usually they cut it out and sell the meat anyway but just my luck to get it in my taco. I'm a little traumatized by it and weary of all meat now sadly. Also the first time I went I asked if the took a card before ordering anything since I didn't have cash and they said yes. Nothing else just yes. So we ordered and ate. When I went to pay after ringing everything up the lady same one who I asked about if they take a card or not said oh there is a fee for using the card like a dollar forty or something not exactly sure of the amount and I said when I asked if y'all take a card you didn't say anything and she said oh there is a sign here and pointed to a small sign on the wall by register which I had no way of seeing from the table we sat at. So I payed it because I had no cash and wasn't gonna go get any over a dollar something but still feel they should of mentioned it. Still after that we went back twice but after the meat abscess I will never go back which sucks because the food tastes real good...

I have been going to this place for years..the food is great, but today the experience was unbelievable... I ordered 4 orders of mini tacos, i said espesifically 2 of them , only 2 of them with the meat a little crispy, and those 2 with grilled onions on top, plus 2 orders of hambuergers with fries, & a Horchata to drink, never have i ever been charge for getting the meat crispy, & today i got told that they charge extra for it...supposely because it takes more time, because they can get burn & because they. Supposely put more meat...all orders had the same amount of meat nothing was extra.. and charging for the meat to be crispier is absolutly ridiculous... The order of grilled onion i asked it to be on top of the 2 orders and they gave it to me separate so the charge me for that too! So from $6.50 of a regular order i got charge $7.99 thats $1.50 extra per order.. Plus almost $2 for the onions , they didnt even gave my husband the drink that we were charge for.. Which was a craving because im Pregnant oh & thats not it... Know supposely you get charge extra for paying with card $1.80 extra that they didnt tell us about.. besides all the extras already. if you pay with card u pay more... This was totally dissapointing...honestly this was one of my favorite places a guy always took my order and never charge me all this ridiculous things, this time was a woman.. Know for this.. This wont be a usual place ill get food...

My husband came home talking about how good the mini tacos were from this place after trying it for the 1st time. He knows I love mini tacos and told me how he couldn’t wait to take me to try some. Later that day while going through our bank account I noticed we were double charged by them. He had already told me he tried to pay with his debit card on their phone swiper and it wasn’t going through, so he ended up paying in cash. We called the bank and they told us to wait until it posted and call back. We ended up going by the taco truck and the younger guy even remembered my husband and that he paid with cash but there was a heavy set lady that I guess was the owners wife and she was telling my husband that she couldn’t do anything about because the money didn’t come out of our account which was BS because it has already posted. We even showed her the transactions on our account and she said she couldn’t do anything about it. My husband even told her he’d just take the tacos instead of them doing the refund and she said no she couldn’t do that either. You would think they’d make things right to have customers return and give good word of mouth and it’s sad because I’m sure the food is great. But her attitude and not doing the right thing is upsetting. Unfortunately we will not return to try anymore food from here. Customer service...
