Gotta say, this is the most disappointing experience I've had at a McDonalds. Which says a LOT given it's a, well, McDonald's. Decided to go through the drive thru with my partner to get some dinner and chill out. Ordered 3 burgers, no onion, extra salt. Pretty straightforward, at least that's what I thought. Apparently not. After ordering, I noticed that the screen at the speaker had a completely different order, "extra onions only." I confirmed with the woman at the speaker that ALL of them were no onions. She said yes, all no onions. I made the mistake of putting my trust in that faceless woman behind the speaker. Pulled up to the window to an employee named "Jaykobee." Asked him specifically, "Hey, can you make sure they are NO onion? It was wrong on the screen and I tried to tell her but she said theyre all no onion." He said yes, messed with his computer for a few minutes and I paid $18 and some change. Pulled forward, was told order was taking a minute, pull to the next spot. Okay, maybe they made the wrong burger because it was printed wrong at first? I'll wait. I waited. Got the order, checked it, incorrect. Didn't receive my $5 McFlurry, and on top of that- the burger I specifically confirmed had extra onions. Cool. I'll go inside and have it remade. Well, that was a 30 minute endeavor to end up receiving a dry burger (only cheese, nothing else) from the manager. Whatever, I'll take it. Tried to call to get a refund on the McFlurry, but OF COURSE the line is busy. Drove 10 minutes home and the lobby is now closed. Calling HR in the morning, because I'm done attempting to speak to anyone here. They either don't understand me or don't care, and unfortunately I am confident it...
Read moreWent to the drive thru this morning to get breakfast, when i placed my order at the speaker everything was ok til we got to the window to pay. The guy that was on the register gave me the total which it was different from the one the person on the speaker had told me, nicely i asked him if he could repeat my order which he did but he made a face like if i was bothering him. After repeating my order it was wrong for some reason i was getting charge double, maaaaaan this dude got pissed when i told him to correct my order, he got all red an slammed the window at me. After he gave me the right total i paid him and slammed the window at me again but when i really got pissed he basically tossed the change at me. I still said thank you he slammed the window a third time and ignored me. When i pulled to the following window to pick up my order i ask the nice lady polite lady that was there if i could speak to the manager, to my surprise the manager after 5 min of waiting never came to the window so i decided to leave. If thats the kind of management that place has it doesnt me surprise the reaction of the employees, its sad how you still pay for a service and they still act like they are giving it to you for free. I understand we all have bad days but maaaan leave your problems or your bad mood somewhere else dont take it to you job and take it on the customers. I only live about 4 min from this mcdonalds at 151 and seaworld but i rather drive to the one in culebra. Like i said its sad, i wonder 6how mr mcdonalds will feel about situations like this and see how customers are getting treated out there in...
Read moreHonestly, this isn't a bad location. They just need more help. The best I can do here is a 3. This location was recently renovated and has a very modern and spacious feel in the dining area, but even at 8:15 p.m. it appears to be understaffed. The dining area was nice but not well kept. The tables and floors hadn't been wiped or swept in a while. It's tough to rate service in a McD's these days because no one really helps you. We placed an order at the kiosk (because we had to), and 5 minutes later, a young lady scurried from the kitchen with our order. You can tell she was in a hurry, but I still needed ketchup and drink cups, so I reluctantly asked, and she happily brought them to me. Now, if you love technology more than I do, you'll love this! You can order on your smartphone McDonald's app while you're in the car. When you get to the restaurant, you can then scan the qr code from the app on the kiosk to process your order. It's not a bad concept, but either way, you're going to be flipping screens on a device. The bad part is that if you're not sure how to operate the kiosk or have a question... there isn't anyone readily available to help you. Food wise (from what you would expect from a McDonald's) it wasn't the worst I've had but wasn't the best either. I really go there for the classic taste of their fries. The fries didn't taste as if they were freshly cooked. They had that rubbery feel to them as if they had been...
