On October 7, approximately 7 AM I went through the drive-through to order my typical meals and I order from there at least three days a week. Who I would later find out what the manager asked me for my four digit McDonald’s app code. I gave her the four digit code, but she repeated back to me the numbers out of sequence, I corrected her. She didn’t repeated back to me the numbers again out of sequence. There was a long pause. I said hello she did not reply 10 to 15 seconds later. I said hello again I corrected her on the four digit code third this time I sent that she was agitated. Somehow, it became my fault she could not hear a four digit code and remember it in sequence. When she finally got the code right there was a long pause again I said hello another 10 to 15 seconds past I said hello again she then yelled at me over the intercom and told me not to talk to her that way and she yelled hello four times, she said if I was gonna talk to her rude not to come through her drive-through I was above her approach. It wasn’t in the mood or have the time to argue with her because clearly she was having a bad day. I have worked in customer service for over 33 years , whatever personal problems she has in her life does not need to be acted out to customers at her restaurant. She was unprofessional and clearly emotionally unstable whoever owns this establishment misunderstand that this “manager“ has completely taken customer service and obliterated it when I went through the drive-through , the ladies who worked there for years was very kind and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager who was rude to me. I said that won’t be necessary that she’s simply not worth it. I will continue to go to this McDonald’s because it’s conveniently located near my home and I have always had a great experience there but this morning October 7, 2025 was a terrible experience , my hope is that she has a better day. Take it out on...
Read moreDoris No straws, No stars. After noticing 3 others also waiting to leave and getting frustrated, and even waving hands up in air a few times trying to get attention. I reached behind the counter to grab 4 straws. Handing them out to the other 3 people. She finally shows an interest. And upon seeing me handing the straws to the other two people, she seemed to get really angry. Yells off: "that is a safety violation and you are not welcomed here, so you can't come back."..🤣☠️ 1-11+ in less then a second. Without even a word. Just an angry scowl when she saw me turn and had straws out to the others, also waiting for straws. Good thing it's not a job where lives are on the line 😳 she so mad, how dare someone do that . I saw a problem and it was easily fixed, so I took the initiative. Don't worry Doris, I won't be back, you're straws are safe. womp womp.
... So I quietly, walked away, I had my straw, and so did everyone else. She continued to ramble as I walked out ... Such anger 😠 😳🤯...( An yes *I know I shouldn't be reaching behind counter)
Personally she seemed more upset, when she saw I was handing them to the others waiting. Like it was a personal insulting her . Maybe tonight was really stressful, no clue. Maybe corporate, isn't helping with labor or isn't hiring enough people. Ultimately, maybe if there was someone working the counter. Cleaning the lobby or restocking straws. Instead of just one manager running back and forth. Customers wouldn't have to try and be helpful and otherwise do for themselves. Either way this place seems slow, understaffed. Management seems stressed and all too quick to jump to 11 on a scale of 1-10 when barking and employees or customers. But perfectly fine not stocking anything or letting the lines get really long. Just be prepared to wait , wait , wait , wait .and then wait some more for the condiments etc... Or you can just go...
Read moreSo, today my wife and i went to this Mcdonalds on Jones Maltsberger and Thousand oaks i ordered a two cheeseburger meal and my wife a fillet of fish meal. We arrived at home and discovered that i was missing one cheese burger. I have lived near this McDonald's for 17yrs i go through there often. My grandkids ages 5 and 2 have eaten many kid meals from this location. They often get the orders wrong and i have always let it slide. Today was the day when enough was enough. So i went back so that they would know that they needed to fix my order. I spoke to some girl claiming to be a manager and who refused to tell me her name. She stated to me that i was going to have to bring back my whole order for me to get the burger that they left out of my order. I advised her that i was not going to turn around and go back home to bring back everything that I had ordered so that they can fix their screw up. When i arrived i spoke to Jeremy who stated that he was the manager. I had seen him many times working the drive thru. He refused to refill my order stating he was following policy. Stated that he would only replace the cheese burger that was left out of my order. I explained to him that by the time i get back home my food will be cold my drink will be watered down and he could care less. Frustrating talking to ignorant people. I did call number from receipt to voice my concern and left a voice mail. This Mcdonalds was really good at one time but in.recent years has gone down the tube. Jeremy has no business being left to run this establishment and i am sure the no name female that i spoke to over the phone was not a manager. I do not recommend anyone supporting this establishment. Go to the one on Bulverde and 1604. I feel the i got ripped off and owner...
