The weekends last hurrah.... I know, it's probably irresponsible of me to make this stop at this time in the morning, but I needed closure, I needed my Huevos Rancheros! The weekend isn't officially OVER until 8AM so this precious time, the full 49 minutes is mine! What do I do with the time I ask myself, study the.ptomotions, prepare for the new nesters that are going to be soon hitting the floor?
No! I spend my last fleeting moments of freedom in a place that is both new, and comfortably familiar! Mexico Lindo a Mexican restaurant just four blocks from my work. Celebrating the last few moments of a great weekend, the best way I know how, with a warm and welcome plate of Huevos Rancheros! And a hot cup of coffee.
With the Queens funeral procession over head on the Television, two cultures collide in a beautiful orchestra of Culinary excellence!
I am impressed with the freshness of everything, and having had Huevos Rancheros all over the world, I can say this will go down as amongst one of the best by far! Will I come back ..YES! And...
Read moreLet me tell you about coffee! This was my first and last time getting coffee here or anything for that .. too pricey for my blood. I went in to pick up an order and came out paying almost 5 dollars for a small ass cup of coffee. It didn't even taste great and I think their creamer is old and expired!! I thought, well this coffee better taste great for this price. Ek! yuck! please be careful what you buy ugh so disappointed. The pictures of their coffee presentation makes that $5 charge unnoticeably understanding but their to go coffee, in their to go cups ek now thats what I call a money grab!!!! I had to go to Whataburger to get a coffee for $3 where I knew It was going to taste way better, even at Starbucks you're paying $6 for a crafted coffee the same size as the Whataburger cup size. (Shaking my head) If you wanna spend unnecessary money to eat at this place where they wants to take your money, this place is for you. Not me!...
Read moreMy wife and I had breakfast today before going to Ft Sam National Cemetery. We had the "Generals Plate" We also purchased two of the clay plates, two coffee cups, and they gave us two of the small saucers for the coffee cups. The food was great. The staff was very polite and courteous. The restrooms were clean. They do have a Military Discount. Parking spots might become prime real estate . They have wheelchair accessibility and high chairs for young children. They also have seating outside in the front of the restaurant if you would like to sit outside and eat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you're going to go to Ft Sam National Cemetery, because it's close by. They have tv's on the wall for the news, or games being played onTV. I don't know if they serve alcohol or not. There is also a drive thru.and they have rake out as well. On the menu it shows that they can cater events should you...
