UNACCOMMODATING FOR HEALTH ISSUES EVEN WHEN YOU WILL MAKE IT WORTH THEIR TIME AND BUY A LARGER THAN ONE-PORTION SIZE!!
Went by here just now and requested a large side of super greens (plus was getting two other two item dinner dishes for the fam) but advised that due to health issues I cannot eat broccoli. I didn’t think this would be a problem because there have been times previous where ie I order the chicken with pineapple and due to, apparently, someone requesting heavy on the pineapples, I’ve gotten the flavor of but no actual pineapple which comes in the dish. Not to mention super greens is hugely easy to separate out the broccoli, and it could go ie into the beef and broccoli dish or -again in past visits before I was diagnosed and advised against broccoli thanks to Hashimoto’s disease- leave it for next person because sometimes I’d ordered super greens and the whole damn box is mostly broccoli.
I was told there is no possible way to pick out the broccoli because everything (3 items!) is pre mixed. As if broccoli is the size of ie sesame seeds, or hugs around other foods like the kale does when they cook the super greens. Even if I was willing to wait and even if I was going to order a large side of it.
Seriously? I could understand if I’d just asked “Can you pick it out?” due to not liking it or something, but I specifically stated that due to medical reasons I can no longer eat it. I believe that Panda has a sign when you order inside regarding to tell the staff about allergies; other medical issues for things more serious than allergy don’t count?!
I will not be back to Panda for my (large) family any more, until/unless a district manager wants to call me to let me know that they’ve informed their staff that they ARE to accommodate ALL health issues, not just...
Read moreWe came here on a Friday afternoon, the manager took our order, drive thru. First I had asked for string bean chicken breast and was told they were out and refused to make any more.(this isn't the first time, it's literally everytime, might as well take it off the menu 😭) Second I asked for the honey sesame chicken and was told the same exact thing. They were very rude, cut me off several times as I tried to order then suggested I get the almond chicken breast, so I mean why not. They didn't have anything else I wanted. As I pulled away from the window, my spouse pulls each container out to check and make sure they're correct. The amount of chicken they put it in was almost nonexistent, 5 tiny shriveled pieces. Most definitely not worth the price, not even enough to fill a small adult. We pulled in. Went inside to ask about it. By no means were we rude. The manager said that was the serving size and walked away from us, leaving another employee to fix the situation. Honestly, I felt cheated. And it's not the first time this location has purposely made the portions small, the employee apologized again, he let me switch it out for another entrée, that's the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The wait time is always RIDICULOUS, the manager is always rude. ForumNacogdoches every. Single. Time. Save yourself the trouble.
UPDATE: 6/17/23 we came and ordered two plates, they didn't give us one of the entrees, BUT they also didnt give us a receipt so when we called they said there was nothing they could do. Tom, the manager is horrible. They charged us and we didn't get what was paid for. The girl at the window shoved the bag in my face and rushed us out of the drive thru. I absolutely hate this location, I regret it everytime I think they'll redeem themselves. It...
Read moreThere’s a good cook here that works the evening shift and makes the Orange Chicken very spicy which makes it tastes great. Because he goes crazy with the spices while making it. Everyone seems to be nice and friendly, but they do tend to rush you. The place usually seems clean, but certain areas could use a deeper detailed cleaning. If all you clean are the counters, floor, and tables then you are going to miss everything else.
The problem is that they always give you more scrapes of little orange bits with no chicken. It’s just fried batter with orange sauce. They do throw you a few bites of chicken but the majority has no chicken. If you want better selections you’ll have to dine-in. Sometimes their food is fresh and taste great. Other times it tastes old and hard to chew. I would suggest never going in the morning or late at night before they close. You never want to the first few customers because they’ll serve you yesterdays old remains that didn’t get sold the previous day. So, they are reheating yesterdays old food and serving it in the morning so they don’t waste it and save money. It’s call saving on shrinkage. And if you are the last few customers they are out of everything and do not want to make any new batches of food because they all want to go home within the last 30 minutes before they close. Even if you are there an hour before they close they’ll say they’re out of certain items and that’s it. They are not willing to do anything or compensate you in anyway.
So, guess what Panda? People can actually tell the difference between fresh and day old reheated food. You are not fooling anyone. People are not stupid. It’s like the difference between fresh pizza and 2 day old pizza. Everyone can tell...
