The cashier that took my order was Shaymarie and she was horrible.. As soon as we finished paying she left the front counter so I had to get my own receipt and my own cups .. And on top of that she goes talking to another employee about the people who leave a mess on the tables and that they shouldn't come in and they shouldn't leave a mess because it's not a restaurant like what is it then?? The food was also not to good, the fried were cold and they didn't even ask if we wanted ketchup .. It wasn't a good experience and all the employees were just standing around and on their phones and didn't have the appearance that they should have because I worked for whataburger for over a year and we always had to have our shirts tucked in and with a belt. Also the cashier was wearing big hoop earrings like I'm pretty sure that's not acceptable cause it want when I was working there .. This just goes to show that the management team doesn't care and they need to be reviewed or shut down .. The one on bulverde road is way better and better...
Read moreThis place lacks the finesse of a Whataburger. I ordered which was an experience in itself. When I got my order they put very little Mayo so I went to the counter to ask for Mayo napkins and the shake they forgot. There was only one person upfront and she was a team to customers, so I had to wait for her to have two customers then asked me what I Needed. While I was waiting tune for years walked by without her family help, when the lady helped or asked what I needed she said she would get it and bring it to my table so I came back to the table to sit down and wait. I watched her help to all the customers and grab the napkins and the shake and come to the table I reminded her I needed Mayo. She went back to get the Mayo end it took her about another five minutes to come back. By the time she came back the chicken sandwich was cold. I did not say anything about the chicken sandwich being cold. This is not what I’m used to from...
Read moreI used to frequent this location. Until today... I witnessed two managers and four employees walk past a reach-in freezer countless times with out closing the door. For over ten minutes, they left it wide open. Mind you, this is the freezer in which they store the bacon and hamburger patties prior to being cooked. On top of all that, I also witnessed the cook, and the way he handled the food. At first I saw him reach in to grab some patties, with out gloves, place them on the grill and reach back in to grab more. Then, with out gloves or washing hands, proceed to touch the spatulas, his shirt, and the freezer itself. Not once did he wash his hands or close the freezer door. Cross contamination, lack of general cleanliness, and poor food handling practice, the basic foundation for all food-bourne illnesses. Sorry to say it, but this Whataburger...
