Panifico Bake Shop — Restaurant in San Antonio

Outstanding pastries. Last time I left because they charge for carryout box. Since then very bakery I visit seemed to adopt this practice. My favorite, my sister's favorite. The cinnamon roll was monstrous. Great texture, lots of great glaze and raisins. The cashier provided professional service. Am soon to return. Location is great. I have been customer for 10 years. Top 3 bakeries.04/04/2022. Since it was closed we dined at Ramona's Restaurant. These two businesses share building. Door separates but not it is permanently closed. Not sure why it when. I had flour tortilla tacos. My companion had flautas plate. Flour tortillas were best I have had in a long time. Our waitress presented some issues. I was not given choice of corn tortillas. I had to call her several times for drink refills. Excess socialize time kitchen area. Food was very good. Cashier attentive so our visit...

If all kinds of baked and pastry goodness are your thing, then Panifico is the place to satisfy your cravings.

Seriously.

I had a fairly large order delivered to the far north side of town and it all showed up exacty as ordered (great thing #1). The fruit empanadas, pan Dulce and danishes (danishii? danisheses?) were on point (great thing #2). Tasty, fresh and the entire order was crushed within 10 minutes by a bunch of hungry engineers.

Special thanks to Panifico ownership for walking me through the menu and suggesting items that my team would enjoy, as well as a few things just for me (great thing #3). Delivery driver was awesome, she put up with my lack of caffeine rambling for 5 minutes with a smile on her face (great thing #4).

After seeing the pictures, just wish I had ordered the Morning Muffin. Complete lack of foresight on my part. Next...

Great variety, great bread....PLEASE COACH YR employees to be customer service oriented...its a business and a smile can really go a long way...we tried chatting w the young lady at the register today and she kept a straight face (zero emotion zero int in interacting) only told us the amount we owed and absolutely nothing else....bought a parfait and had to ask her for the spoon....I get it we all have rough days but in a shop like this customer service is truly of the upmost importance . Greeting folks as they walk in and thanking them when they leave can really make a difference.....I can see that I am not the only person to mention this on a review so hoping it does get addressed...we drove from Helotes due to the fbook posts about the bread....that part you have down perfectly....just get the staff at the register to interact and this will...
