Went on the weekend, the two employees were rude and did not seem to enjoy their jobs. They were chit chatting and looked annoyed when we came . Cashier looked annoyed when I asked how to pronounce hakaideo( i legitimately didnt know how to and was curious because I work for a global tea distributor, never heard of it) . I ordered a half taro half hakaideo slush and it was over iced with very little flavor. I'm from California and basically grew up drinking milk teas and boba drinks and this was a pure disappointment. Slush is supposed to be icy but this one did not have any flavor at all, did they even add any flavor? Had Chunks of ice. Felt like I was drinking a cup of ice with food coloring. I made my own taro slush from powder I bought on Amazon and It came out 1000 times better. You are better off purchasing a milk tea or slush from any family owned asian restaurant or tealicious cafe where you can actually taste taro in their slush. Good customer service would have improved the experience but that was obviously not the case. Each slush was about $7, so overpriced for a cup of ice. Its probably the most expensive milk tea slush ive bought in san antonio and it didnt even have flavor. My niece and family went shortly after and they didnt even have regular boba, employees were lazy. Never purchasing...
Read morePoke Yi in Ingram Mall, San Antonio, is a great restaurant with a nice artistic interior that creates a welcoming ambiance for diners. The spaciousness of the restaurant provides ample seating, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.
During my visit, it was my first visit there, i tried the custom poke bowl and bubble tea, which were amazing in taste. I had their regular poke bowl that comes with three proteins. The staff was good and attentive. The quantity of food served was also good, because I couldn't finish it and took it home for my dinner. My all-time favorite thing.
Additionally, Poke Yi offers a wide range of options to choose from, making it easy to find something that suits everyone's taste. Whether you're a fan of seafood, vegetarian, or meat dishes, there is something for everyone on the menu.
Overall, Poke Yi is a fantastic restaurant with good food, staff, and atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty meal with friends and family while shopping. One bad thing is, they charge 1 dollar for seaweed salad, and I didn't see anyplace that charges for...
Read moreI was excited to try this place for long time since the reviews were good and today I just went to shopping with my friend and found this store. I ordered S.A dirt without boba, and spicy salmon. The drink was good for me bc I like brown sugar taste and spicy salmon wasn’t for me. Mango is too small and I had poke in Seattle and beach side in Cali so I know good poke and this wasn’t the poke I want to come back and eat again. My friend had Ramen and Matcha with boba. She said boba wasn’t fully cooked so it was hard to chew boba, and ramen lol that’s instant ramen for me🤣 She barely ate it so I tried it from her, tempura looked instant too. I went to tempura restaurant back in Japan so I thought it’ll be better cook at home or go expensive restaurant and ramen soup taste nothing! I mean of course it taste but my friend said instant ramen taste more than this and she was right. My mom is really picky eat Tonkotsu ramen even in Japan so I learned from her which is good ramen and bad ramen. Also, water wasn’t free you have to buy little Fiji water if you...
