First the service is God awful I've moved faster In a chic fil a on a Sunday Let's get that out of the way 1st. You'll wait in line longer than you'll be eating. And you'll need gloves to eat the masacre they will try to feed you. Then the guy wrapped my burrito like a crazy person and I mean like a literal physcopath (of course his name was Thomas) and it exploded . Like a full on no hold back 500ib bomb dropped from WWII era B-25 mitchell. And when I asked him if I could have another Tortilla because my burrito exploded and spilled it's delicious guts all over the counter. He looked me in the eye with that crazy deranged look on his face a man only gets when he's seen the deaths of countless buritos and was like "no it didint" even though it clearly did ... i mean... there was burrito all over yhe place like some sort of Mexican food crime scene. The carnage of Carne asada was obvious. But no... he didn't care and I was left to deal with the aftermath. When I opened my burrito what I saw horrified me. There was just burrito everywhere with little evidence there was ever definitive shape. There before lied the remnants of what could have been a proud burrito. Alas there was only .... destruction caused by Thomas not knowing how to do his job. I had to eat it . I had to. I had to use a fork to eat a burrito like some sort of terrorist. I've never been so ashamed in my life. But I was hungry and time was running out. When I was done there was burrito all over my hands and face and I was filled with depression and self disdain. And when I lifted my heavy eyes to peer back at the monster that had given me this... monstrosity. Thomas didn't even see me.... I was like a ghost. To be forgotten with my mush of a burrito that he served me.
Don't go...
Read moreI recently spent a week on TDY at Fort Sam Houston, and with only an hour for lunch each day, I was looking for quick, quality service. The Qdoba in the exchange quickly became my go-to. Despite the constant flow of trainees and service members all on tight schedules, this place consistently delivered fast, fresh, and delicious meals.
First, the cleanliness stood out. The team at Qdoba clearly takes pride in their space, with tables continuously wiped down and floors swept—a welcoming sight in a busy location. The staff was unfailingly polite, professional, and committed to a positive customer experience.
One employee especially deserves praise. Though I didn’t catch her name, she was on the line on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, and appeared to be of Hispanic heritage, about 5’3”. She handled a particularly challenging situation with exceptional patience and grace. An elderly woman in front of me placed two orders and had specific, detailed questions about each ingredient. This employee not only answered every question with a smile but went above and beyond, offering a sample of meat to ensure it wasn’t too spicy and even separating ingredients as requested.
Though there was a long line of waiting soldiers, she maintained her calm, professional demeanor, and when it was my turn, she completed my order in record time without missing a beat. Her ability to adjust her pace to meet different customer needs was truly impressive.
I’m grateful for the excellent experience and hope her exceptional service is recognized—she’s exactly the kind of employee who deserves a raise. If you're on Fort Sam and want quick, quality food with service that goes above and beyond, this Qdoba is the...
Read moreSo this store closes at 7:00 (1900) it’s posted everywhere. We got in line at 6:11 and stood in line for about 15 minutes. The manager approaches the customer behind us and tells her to cut everyone else who walks up off because they close down at 6:30. We continued to stand in line for about 30 minutes. As soon as we were almost up to the front the manager decides to tell us that they are only serving what is left on the line. We get up to the front and they are out of rice... after standing in line for 30 minutes I feel like the manager could have been more prepared seeing that the staff needed to have more food prepared and maybe have avoided being absolutely lazy. Not to mention- to run a building and be around the food and speaking to customers with a mask off was extremely unprofessional. Extremely disappointed the base allows this type of business to be ran by an incompetent and lazy manager. I would think they would be held to higher standards. 0/10...
