This store is okay but I've seen a lot that needs to be changed, especially for a facility on a military base. First threats. I've seen a young man get threatened 3 times since he started here. This is a military base and we should uphold our promise to protect those who can't serve or choose not to, that is our job and that young man is not the enemy. You hold in there Timothy things will get better. The managers refuse to give out any store information and tell you to refer to google. Where are your customer service skills? I've got a bone to pick with the way this store is ran and the way they treat people and employees alike. You want my review to be positive? Change the way this store runs because this is no excuse for a military or federal operation. Thomas he is retired military and granted we all have our problems, that's no excuse for you to treat customers like garbage and yell at them. They are not there to serve you on their time off, without those customers you wouldn't have a job buddy. Back to Timothy, I really hope you see this. You need to request a transfer or change jobs because from what I've seen from this place they are never going to resolve the issues and your in your 2 year probation which makes you the expendable one and I don't want to see you lose your government position just because you have a terrible workplace. Those are my key points to hit on with this store because I'm in there almost everyday and that young man is forced through hell almost everyday Ive come in and Thomas along with some of the other employees are doing nothing but causing problems. Okay so the store itself aside from what I've seen that needs to be changed on the front end. The prices change constantly, the tags don't get replaced, the managers are rude and easily irritable when you ask for any assistance. I used to love this store and it seems in the past few months it's done nothing but become a joke. They are worried about the exchange taking all the customers, well it won't be too hard for them because they don't act like a bunch of children. Ironically enough the youngest one there upfront, Timothy. He acts more like an adult compared to the rest of you. I'm ashamed to know that in the past those people were good people in the military community and to see how childish and ignorant they are now and that they use the fact they used to be in the military as an excuse to act that way is pathetic. Corporate if you read this it's about damn time because all the numbers on the website to get ahold of you don't work or send you in a circle. Get this store fixed or close it....
Read moreNormally have a pleasant shopping experience, but not this time.
The cashier at register 14,Cashier #175, was terribly misogynistic. I asked if he could call the butcher shop and ask if they had a particular cut of meat. I had checked but didn't see it. Nor did I see any workers. Instead of saying he didn't have their number, he took off and was gone for almost 10 minutes. This was after I had paid and was waiting for my receipt.
When he finally came back, he denied being gone as long as I claimed, and said he didn't have their number, but wanted to get the answer for me. He claimed he looked for that cut of meat but dis not find it, nor dis he find a y workers. He again said he went to the back because he dis not have that extension and "the customer is important". Sure. That's why he kept me - and the person who bagged my groceries - waiting as long g as he did - because our time was obviously NOT important to him.
Even worse than his attitude was his incredible lack of attention to his personal grooming - his hair was unkempt, and he had a long, scraggly beard that appeared to have never been groomed. If nothing else, it should have been contained within a hair net, as is required elsewhere nationally.
Next time I shop here, I will make sure to avoid that individual. His atritude tells me he has no business working with the public, and his lack of attention to grooming, especially that unkempt facial hair, is a big no-no for working around food - particularly fresh produce and fresh bakery items.
Note: The manager was there for a portion of the wait and was present when he finally sauntered back. So she was well aware of his appearance, but decided it was...
Read moreI went to get a few things after work. There were not many people there. It was an hour and a half till they closed. I found what I needed quickly as I could move freely from aisle to aisle. There was only one register open, and they were switching cashiers, and that caused a short delay. Overall I would say a great experience. I was in and out. I went back to the commissary today. It was a little busier than the last time I was there. There was a shortage of some items, mainly chips and snacks. This most likely is due to the Super Bowl game tomorrow. There was an abundance of chicken wings but not much other chicken such as thighs or breaststroke. They had 12 packs of soft drinks for threw dollars, and people were buying them up. There was a long checkout line, but it went quickly as there were several registers open. It was a good shopping experience overall; however, recent inflation has really impacted the prices. This is a Dec 21 update. We went to get a few things for the holidays. The shelves were well stocked. They were much better than the last time we went. There were plenty of registers open and the staff was very friendly. The prices were pretty high, but that is just the way things are now. I was satisfied overall. This is an update for March 25 2023. I just went to get a few items . I found everything I needed. The meat selection was a little slim, but it was late in the day, and...
