Walking in the establishment was clean and presentable. Checking in with the hostess, everything went down hill from there. Plenty of empty tables yet a fifteen to thirty minute wait for multiple tables of four or less. Sitting in the waiting area with the other guests chatting about the empty tables and watching the hostess play on her phone. Once seated waited a good five minutes before our waitress came to the table, but we watched the staff in the back chatting like birds lined up on a fence. Those us in the customer service industry know that there is always something to do and no reason for standing around. Anyway waitress comes to take our drink order and we let her know we are ready to order food as well. First time here, let's try an appetizer, chips and salsa can't go wrong. I was wrong, along with the chips came fried particles from other food (signs of old oil). Salsa looked processed and had an overwhelming taste of olive juice, not good, accompanied by guacamole with corn? lol ok. sitting with empty drinks, the window full of food and waitstaff chatting(no teamwork here). We finally get our food and it's cold, I guess the heat lamps don't work as well as they should. Burgers ordered without mayo substituted with mustard were Delivered with mayo and no mustard, chicken was very dry not fresh. Waitress no where to be found, we asked the hostess for plastic utensils for the kids "we don't carry plastic utensils" lol really interesting. After leaving food there enjoying our water because that's all that made it out correct, manager John comes out to apologize. He let us know that our waitress was pulled to assist at the bar, and apologized for the mix up in food. Also letting us know this isn't his regular location so he doesn't know what to fix or how to fix since he doesn't know the employees as well as he does at the location he does work. Read moreRIDICULOUSLY good service! I came in with incredibly simple needs today and they were exceeded far more than I could have possibly expected. I woke up this morning and realized I hadn't had Red Robin fries in years and wanted some, so after work I walked over. I was seated in the bar area of the restaurant around 7pm, and the restaurant was busy. I worked in the restaurant and food service industry for years so I have an understanding of how crazy Saturday nights can get.
I was served by a lady who, I feel so terrible, I forget her name, but she deserves SO MUCH praise. With a colleague running the bar, she was waiting the whole bar half of the restaurant, making their drinks and running their food. Within about two minutes of me being seated she comes over to me and asks what I'd like. I order a drink and some fries. She's incredibly kind and efficient and runs that back to the kitchen while checking on other tables. To my astonishment, she comes back in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES with my order. I think I've waited longer at McDonald's for orders on a slow day than I did for this order on a busy Saturday night. As I ask for the check to leave after eating my fries, which were fantastic and exactly what I wanted, she offers me a refill which I totally forgot about, and I take to-go.
To be honest, it kind of blows my mind how effortless the staff at this location made everything feel and look. The service was incredibly kind and efficient, and the kitchen (although yes, it was a simple order,) was blindingly quick. I feel so disappointed I can't refer to this employee by name, and I hope I've been able to give enough info to ensure management realizes how kick-butt of a job she's doing, but also that everyone there seemed to be on the ball and doing a great job. Read moreIF I CAN RATE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE I WOULD 100% DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AT ALL .Went to this location with my kids , mind you I have a child that is very picky about what she eats and eats extremely light . So we got to this establishment and look through the menu well my child didn’t like anything on the adult menu and saw that they had Mac and cheese . So we asked Pamela our server if we could possibly get the Mac and cheese kids meal , Pamela then responded saying that Justin the new manager is a stickler for the rules and that no we couldn’t do that . So I asked to speak with Justin well Justin comes to the table and I tell him that I’m willing to pay for an adult meal if we can get Mac and cheese as a side . His response was NO that if he let us do it then he would have to let everyone do it . Which is ridiculous because how would anyone else know that it was done even after I offered to pay for an adult meal just to get the Mac and cheese. So instead of compromising with me he refused to I paid for the drinks that we had already ordered and left the establishment. After this horrible experience I reached out to corporate and ended up getting a phone call from Eddie and all he was worried about was the damn response that Pamela gave about her manager and that all he could do for me was give me a free entree . As someone that work in management and customer service this is by far the worst experience I have ever had and this being my first time here I will NEVER EVER RETURN. I will wait for a response from corporate because Eddie is just as bad as the rest...
