Dear Saltgrass Management,
I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service we received during our visit on 1/19/2025. While we were initially pleased with the attentiveness of our server, the service quickly deteriorated, and several issues arose that significantly impacted our experience.
First, our server became inattentive after a large party was seated nearby. Our drinks were not refilled for an extended period, and our drinks were empty before our appetizer even arrived. Another server finally refilled our drinks when our food arrived, but by then, much of our meal had already been disrupted.
Additionally, my steak was served burnt, which the manager himself acknowledged when delivering the plate. However, after dropping it off, he left without addressing the issue further, seemingly hoping I would not complain. When I returned the steak, a new one was brought out, but it was the wrong order, and by then, most of my party had already finished their meals.
To make matters worse, one of the servers prematurely took my friend’s plate while she was still eating, without asking if she was finished. Most troubling of all, when my husband expressed our concerns to the manager, the server approached him and began yelling at him in a very unprofessional and rude manner. This not only worsened the situation but also demonstrated a clear lack of customer service training among the staff.
Given the poor service, lack of professionalism, and the issues with our meals, I feel this experience does not reflect the standards we expect from a restaurant of your caliber. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and address these issues with your team, as it’s clear there is a significant need for better training in customer service and basic dining etiquette.

Read moreI would like to firat start by saying that we gave this location every oppurtunity to do better. After our 25 minute, which was really not that bad we were aeated at a booth in the bar area. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before finally asking an employee if someone was going to help us. Not long after pur server came to the table stating that this was his table, but thathat he would help us. He took our drink order, returned and we put an appetizer order in. He stated he would bring some fresh, which never arrived. The bread was no big deal but was in fact the second warning of the poor attention span being displayed by this employee. The appetizer arrived and not long after our meals did as well. I asked to upgrade my salad to the kale and spinach salad and had then refrain from bringing a side dish. The salad was a bowl full of sloppy shriveled up bad kale and spinach. I tried a bite and confirmed that it was indeed kale from the Jurassic period. I returned it and did not want a replacement, my filet that I ordered along with my wife followed the same trend as the dinner up until this point. I ordered mine medium and she ordered hers well. Mine was extremely rare and hers medium at best. I will attach photos for a nice visual. In speaking with the manager Ray I explained the deficiencies and explained that we were not looking for our food to be discounted or comped. Read moreCame here at 11 am. on a Saturday, right when they open up. There was no one at the front to seat us. We stood there for at least 10 min before anyone noticed we were there. I walked around looking for someone to seat us and couldn't find a soul. When we finally got seated, the staff kept coming back to our table every couple of minutes to ask if we were ready to order. I felt so pressured to order something. I just got what my boss was having. The menu is so massive with so many choices that I needed more than a couple minutes to look it over. Then, after we ordered, the staff kept interrupting us every couple minutes to ask if we needed anything before and after the arrival of our food. It was annoying asf to say the least. I was having a meeting with my boss and partner. We couldn't get much of anything discussed because of the constant interruption. I felt like I was being rushed in and out of the place. I can understand that they're trying to provide good customer service, but this was too excessive. What happened to good wholesome relaxed friendly service. It seemed like the staff was so strung out on coffee or energy drinks or drugs (prescription or non) that they were bouncing all over the place. We had 3 different servers come to our table to ask us this and that. They really need someone to come in and train this staff better.
