We really want to like this place. The food is great, very authentically cooked. However, the service is so poor that visiting this establishment is always an miserable experience. We went to the original location several times and was never happy with the services. We saw they have a newer and more spacious venue so we decided to try them again but they never fail to disappoint. 1,In our party, we had a gluten sensitive guest. We asked the waitress if there is anything does not contain gluten or any gluten free option. She was clueless and said, "nothing is free". After we explained what gluten free means, she pointed out the few items. Half way through the meal, we asked for manager to express our dissatisfaction about the services such as not getting our drink and appetizer, as well as the food came out lukewarm ( I ordered iskander kebab which usually served on a hot metal plate. The plate was not hot just warm and the meat was also warm). The manager had a very bad attitude and quite aggressive. He kept finding excuses for the lack of service and asked us "SO WHAT DO YOU WANT?". We said that we merely wanted to tell you our experience since we like the food but the service is killing the place. When we mentioned about the gluten free and he said, "Nothing is gluten free" which contradicting what the waitress stated. My guest was quite concerned and wished that they would inform him that prior while he made the order.

2, They also tried to charge us for the drink we didn't receive, when the manager asked the waitress why we didn't receive everything on our order, the waitress said that she gave us the drink which is not true. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, they consistently deflect to the customers.

This restaurant can be a great place if they can fix the service but we had consistent poor experiences for the past several years. We won't be returning or...

I have now eaten at Chef's Table twice in 3 weeks. It was that good. It's tucked away in a strip mall next to the Silverado Movie Theater, and it has a special surprise right next door which we'll mention a little later. Chef's Table has a very inviting curb appeal with lush plants and tables and chairs for outdoor seating. When you walk in the atmosphere is great and has a Middle Eastern / Mediterranean feel. The staff is friendly and attentive, greeting you as soon as you walk in, and offering insights on the food as well as recommendations. We started off with the Hummus appetizer. Hands down the best hummus I’ve ever had. They brought a spicy dip along with the hummus that was very interesting. I don’t do well with spicy, but this was unique and tasted great. The pita bread was nice blend of crunch and softness, complimenting the dips perfectly. We ordered the Mix Grill for Two for our main course. It is definitely not cheap, but you get your money’s worth. It comes absolutely loaded with a virtual cornucopia of meats, a hefty portion of rice, a salad, and grilled veggies. You get Turkish Kofte(meatball), chicken doner, lambs shish, and chicken shish. Each meat is more delectable than the last, and you get plenty of food. The food is fresh and healthier than most restaurant fare. The second time I went I ordered the same entree and it was enough to feed three. As I mentioned before, there is a nice surprise attached to the Chef’s Table, and it’s called Turkish Delight Coffee House. They serve coffee and delicious baked goods, pastries, and treats. The treats are beautiful to look at and taste just as good. I tried some tarts and an eclair, both amazing. Next time I go I’ll actually take pics of the treats before scarfing them down! If you’re looking for a fantastic meal, from start to finish, that’s delicious and won’t leave you feeling unhealthy. Chef’s Table is the...

Salt baked lamb shoulder, and you can only find it at Chef‘s table in the Helotes area of San Antonio,Texas. It’s juicy tender and Falls right off the bone! Check out this 5 foot Adana kebab, which is minced lamb and beef mounted on a wide iron skewer and grilled on an open charcoal flame, giving it rich smoky flavor. The chicken, beef and lamb doner kebabs are seasoned to perfection thinly sliced right off the rotating skewer and served with rice and vegetables. They also have shish kebabs, veggie dishes, fresh bread, baba ghanoush, hummus, Turkish pizza and incredible mouthwatering and beautiful desserts. Would you go?
