Sir Winston's Pub — Restaurant in San Antonio

This is my favorite karaoke spot in San Antonio. A+ bartenders, karaoke every night, and decent drink prices. They recently expanded their karaoke catalogue, so they cover both newer and older hits, and it's searchable in your smart phone so you don't have to look through a book. The regulars are nice, and it feels like a safe place to be. I've only had problems with pushy guys rarely, and when it happens I can turn to the staff to help resolve the issue. It's definitely less creepy than Dad's.

There's also live music every once in a while, free darts, a lively pool scene, and trivia. The place does get a little crowded for my tastes on Friday night, but generally the atmosphere is relaxed and the weekdays are good for people who want to sing a bunch of times throughout the night. Restrooms have always been clean while I've been there, and the patio is cozy.

It's in a shopping center, and the sign doesn't stand out a whole lot, so it can be hard to miss. The planet fitness in the same shopping center should be easy to spot, so you can go...

This was my first time coming here last night (8/6) and the two male bartenders (1 with grey pony tail & bald gentleman) were AMAZING!!!! They mixed the drinks well, their personalities were outstanding, and they really made my boyfriend and I feel like family or regulars. I apologize I don't remember their names. There was karaoke available, 5 dart boards, two pool tables, and trivia video game tvs at the bar to play. The atmosphere during the week was great. It was very busy for a wed night. I was highly impressed and will definently be back. So glad I found my new home bar in town and I've been here in texas 4 years and yet to find one. A karaoke bar that while very busy the volume inside was moderated enough to hear conversation. Was pleasant and prices were reasonable. Bar was extremely busy crowded but on the positive, either thru careful positioning natural acoustic design, conversation was possible. My second drink order ( Bud 12 oz.) took approx 45 minutes and I was at the bar..while STEVE the barkeep was personable it is not a pleasant. RATHER than pen a scathing acct. after one visit. I returned Sunday. With another barkeep and a much reduced crowd again the wait to be seen was near interminable. When asked I queried whether coffee was brewed, if not was my intention was 12 oz longneck. As I began to say such bartender turned away and another wait ensued.
