Taco Cabana — Restaurant in San Antonio

I don't know how much you pay your management but take it from a true old school manager they aren't worth queso. I could change your manager to be better but to tell you the truth I really don't think they care. I walk in there and they got some mannequins sweeping the back floor in the back dining area and the floor is completely totally clean 100% I walk over there to grab some napkins and they're sitting there in the package that comes off the truck which takes like 1 minute to stock so I took it upon myself to do it then I went and sat in the back room and realized there was like 25 trays which tells me with nobody walking in those trays have been there since breakfast! I took it upon myself to take those to the counter hopefully somebody felt like an idiot because they totally deserve to feel like one because they look like one making your store look bad if I was an investor I would clean house either your manager doesn't know what they're doing or they don't care either way your store is suffering because you don't have the right people working for you people who are supposed to care about what's going on around them instead of just looking good in front of their managers what about what the customer's think how about that. I don't know who the Manager is but it was a hispanic lady with a lot of makeup. I had stopped the evening before to pick up an order and didn't recieve my drinks. I commute to work so it was out of the way to go get drinks. The staff the evening before was very friendly and laid back. Bryon was friendly and said it was okay to go in the morning as it is on the way to work for me. So the next morning, 2/28, I get there and explain this to the lady. She was wearing a black shirt so clearly a manager. How she got there is beyond me. She wasn't rude but she in no way offered an apology or even offered any kind of coupon or anything for me to inconveniently head that way. She really needs to go back and get some customer service training. She didn't even have a name tag which wasn't helpful. I was annoyed with her lack of customer service and just left after getting my things and "complimentary chips & queso", which didn't equate to much without an sincere apology like the man from the night before had. She also didn't explain why a refund couldn't be offered. A good experience gone bad because of a manager who was robotic and didn't seem like she wanted...

Not very impressed in general. First the guy at drive thru assumes I'm ready to order immediately upon pulling up which having worked drive thrus, I usually am but my guest needed time. Didn't take too long to figure it out. For us anyway. I realize bean and chorizo w/cheese isn't a normal menu item, but it has been possible at other locations w/o too much drama. The cashier asked if we wanted to get egg, bean chorizo and cheese. We again explained what we wanted. We get to the window and low and behold we get an ehh, bean, chorizo and cheese. Explain again to make that with no egg. Then we get one with just chorizo and cheese. Almost had it. We just asked for the beans. Then, a lady from the back comes and tells me the chorizo is cooked with the beans. It is not. I could clearly see the beans, eggs and chorizo in the incorrect taco. I was shocked that we couldn't have just got the beans for the taco. I had to be somewhere and didn't have time to explain the details of taco making at the time.
