"5 stars, Fresh & tasty!" That was my review of this place 3 years ago. I love Smoothie King. Their smoothies have always tasted great for me, but recently, something has changed. Not necessarily with the smoothies themselves, but with the staff. Before, the staff used to be so helpful and would even offer suggestions sometimes. They would greet you and sound and appear happy. I visited this location twice on 4/15/22. The first time, I went through the drive thru. The woman on the drive thru speaker did not greet me like I've usually heard them do before. She plainly asked "What can I blend for you?" She sounded like I was bothering her. I said I was there to pick up my mobile order so she asked me to drive up. When I got to the window, the guy swung open the window a bit dramatically and just stared at me blankly. I had to repeat myself that I was picking up my mobile order. When I got my smoothie at the window, about an inch was missing from the top. I didn't complain though. I don't like to. I assumed it just happened to come up short. Later that day I visited this same location, but walked into the store this time to pick up my mobile order. I had ordered ahead again. When I asked to pick up my order at the counter, they said it wasn't ready yet. In fact, they hadn't even started it. I thought 'No big deal. They probably have been busy.' My order was for a strawberry smoothie and a chocolate smoothie. The strawberry smoothie was ready first. Then the chocolate smoothie was ready. When they handed it to me, the smoothie didn't look brown how you'd think a chocolate smoothie would look. It looked white. I spoke up but couldn't get anyone's attention because they had a blender going. I tried to speak louder about 2 more times with no success. Thank goodness the blender happened to shut off and I could finally get their attention. I asked about the color of the chocolate shake. The guy behind the counter said that the recipe was changed, that's why it looks lighter. I thought that was odd but foolishly took his word for it. When I got back to my car I handed the chocolate smoothie to my daughter and left. Turns out, the "chocolate" smoothie wasn't chocolate at all. It was a banana type smoothie. I didn't have the time or energy to go back and ask for another smoothie. The manners of the staff have gone out the window. It seems like they're just a bunch of high school kids that don't care. Read moreTerrible experience. I love Smoothie King and usually go to the Rim location where service and staff are pretty good at customer service. Here at this location it’s obvious that only kids work here and I STRONGLY suggest more training from leadership for this location. I called my order ahead of time for pick up. The girl that took my order was clearly not listening and asked me to clarify all 3 of my drinks each time I told her what my order was. Even after she acknowledged the items I said for the drinks. And I don’t mean clarify as in read back to me but literally ask flavor, item, size, etc multiple times for the drinks. I could hear her speaking to another employee bc apparently the computer was slow or giving her trouble, there was a lot background noise as well to indicate that they probably were busy.. That being said I pull up only a few minutes later and see that there were only 4 customers.. hardly considered busy in my opinion. I’m in the drive thru and ask the kid if I am able to use my feedback receipt as well as my rewards. He said yes and so I gave him the validation code and he scanned my rewards (I used the 2k points redeem) and the total price came down by $2 instead of $3. $1 feedback receipt + $2 rewards redeem. Read moreThe staff were slow getting smoothies out and there were 4 people working. The one employee in the drive thru was cashiering and making smoothies. The workers who all had on headsets were very rude about a customer who ordered through the drive thru because they felt that he was yelling in the microphone where he placed his order ( Not once did it occur to these employees that indeed the drive thru microphone may be malfunctioning) Instead they kept trying to devise a plan to get back at the customer. Once the drive thru cashier/ smoothie maker finished the customers smoothie order and handed it to the customer he felt yelled in the drive through, he handed him his smoothie and yelled VERY LOUDLY ,. "THANK YOU AND COME BACK, OK!!!!!" It was very rude and unprofessional as he could have politely asked the customer if he was having trouble hearing the him or even the customer could be hard of hearing. The one cashier in front took my order during all of this, but the drive thru cashier/smoothie maker made my drink all while the other 3 employees just stood around laughing it up. Labor hours could have best been spent with the stand around employees making my drink. I could have avoided watching the drive thru employee disrespect a customer that is paying towards...
