TLDR: FOOD POISONING I work around this location, and this is the second time they have had someone that is either incompetent or unable to work the iPad taking orders outside. I very specifically, ask for ONE thing every time I go to BM - (LEAN or EXTRA LEAN brisket. Portion of pickles.) (fatty foods upset my stomach very easily)
So, I emphasize the LEAN part when I am ordering it, and often say it multiple times or ASK THEM to make sure they got that part.
I go to the window, my order is recited back to me, and there is no mention of the LEAN part. It will either take me getting all the way to work to unwrap the brisket from the 100 layers of butcher paper to learn that I have been given 1/2lb of straight up fat - or me saying something about it at the window and having it corrected before I have a very upsetting experience.
Two days ago, (Saturday at 10:30am) This exact situation happened to me, and this time they had my entire order prepared by the time I got to the window. I told them I told the man outside taking orders to make sure he specified the LEAN part, and they said he did not and they’d have to switch it out.
I apologize, feel like garbage and thank them for correcting it. I am never ever rude to the cashier. THEY are never rude to me.
Here’s my issue. The people packing the order are VISIBLY annoyed about the issue and when I get the bag back, they have put the DRIEST, grossest looking meat in a pie container and didn’t even bother closing it properly- so all the meat has flown around the bag. I don’t say anything about it and just go to work. I eat it despite thinking “this tastes… different. maybe it’s just me. whatever, just eat it.” because now i am starving and paid $13-$14 for this overpriced food.
I don’t eat anything else during my work shift. I get home and start having the WORST stomach pain I have ever had in my life. (and I’ve been through childbirth) I am up all night in the restroom with diarrhea and endless amounts of vomit. I STILL have to work the next day from 7am-7pm. I go to the restroom 32 times, and vomit another 19 times on Sunday. I have the worst stomach pain the entire day. I actually question if my life is worth living anymore. I end up in the HOSPITAL. I AM STILL IN THE HOSPITAL (2:16AM on MONDAY MORNING) despite being a single mother and having a four year old at home.
ALL because some person on the line at Bill freaking Millers got annoyed about having to correct an order mistake that I DIDNT MAKE.
This has happened to me TWICE at this location- but the first time I didn’t get deathly ill. I am never coming back to this location again. Literally because I don’t...
Read moreI live 5 minutes away from this location. I enjoy the food for the ,most part because it is fairly good and relatively inexpensive. I use the drive thru about the same as I dine in. This evening my daughter in law stopped to order two "Salad Delites with chicken tenders" and a "Rancher" plate. She asked the young woman as she handed her the order if she had included all three meals. The young woman assured her the order was complete. Our orders often are incomplete or wrong. My daughter in law brought the food into our kitchen and opened the bag. The dressings and utensils were there for the TWO SALADS and one plate, however only one salad and one plate were in the bag! She called the restaurant and asked for the manager. He told her he would "GIVE" her a piece of pecan pie to make up for her "trouble". I went to pick up the salad so my daughter in law and son could eat together. I walked in and asked for the manager- he came around the corner and said "Oh the salad with chicken tenders"- not exactly the greeting I would give someone who had to come back to retrieve a meal! After some discussion- mostly on his part with continual apology and telling me he would give me up to two pieces of pecan pie or "A DOZEN BROWNIES"- I finally told him- no I wanted an entire pecan pie or nothing. This is not our first order not complete from here, seems they have too many folks not knowing what they are doing. The manager mocked me when I told him that. I left- with my salad, and called and left a message at the office on Santa Rosa St. My resolution would be that the unit have some double check orders to make sure they are complete-...
Read moreGoing through the to go order, whoever is recieving your order never listens. Either talking to staff members or just don't want to hear you. I put in an order, and have to repeat 3 or 4 times to get it right. But ends getting wrong. And that special order is ice tea. Sweet tea, or unsweetened tea, or half and half iced tea. I always asked if the tea is fresh. They says yes, but that is a lie. Unsweetened tea sour. And I asked them taste the unsweetened tea if it fresh. Reply! I don't drink ice tea sweetened or unsweetened. I always end up with spoiled tea. I even order gallons refills. So I end up going to another Bill Miller's to get my iced tea with better service and that's going inside to get it right. Check the tea; if it's fresh, have them taste it. They will know from right there. That it good or bad tea, sweetened or unsweetened. It's the expression on there face when they taste it. 😊🙄🙁 and tell Bill Miller's working staff get off their iPhones or Android phones, and work for Bill Miller's what they are being paying for. They don't pay you to be on your phones. Do that on your own time. I believe Bill Miller's should have mandatory work policy about being on the phone or texting, customers see that. That is real important. It turns Bill Miller's customers to go elsewhere. A yes, there is other places to eat that will have people listen and give them good service. A loss for Bill Miller's. A plus for other food business who will give them their attention. More money $$$ in their business...
