I rarely ever post about restaurant service but this was absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Just about every time I go through their drive thru they get my order wrong. I tried the curb-side service and no one came out to the car. This last time we went through the drive-thru and they got our milkshake order wrong. When I stated my order, they repeated it back to me then when I got to the window not only did they hand me the wrong milkshake, they failed to give me the correct one even after I told them they gave me the wrong milkshake. The girl at the drive thru said that the code they used for the milkshake confused her. Then when she retrieved the milkshake I asked her if it was the one I ordered and she said it was - it ended up being the same one she mistakenly made. When I swiped my card at the window, the total was different than what I was told by a few cents so I thought no big deal I must have heard wrong so I swiped my card. The girl at the window then tells me my total was different and that my card didn't go through and then charged my card again. Now I've been charged almost 10.00 for a soft drink and a milkshake. I went home and verified my account had been charged twice and called them asking to speak to a manager. Not only did I then have to identify who I was and why I was calling before the manager would talk to me, I had to also listen to why I shouldn't swipe my card at their window before verifying the total first (which I did, I just thought I misheard or they adjusted something). Anyway they didn't bother to apologize, the manager just said they would take it off after reminding me AGAIN not to make the same mistake and hung up without another word. Read moreSonic these days is unfortunately a hit or miss. They don't have anywhere near the customer service they used to have a few years ago. I've had some really bad, staring in disbelief service with the worst being the DeZavala location. That being said, this location on Judson has not failed in customer service for me. I've gotten to where I will drive past 4 or 5 Sonic's to go to this one. I've been in customer service most of my life and if you don't provide good customer service within a company you've got nothing because the goal is making people WANT to come back. Right?!?
Visited the O'Connor location today 6-26-23. After waiting approximately 30minutes for my online order they brought me someone else's order. The guy said "oh we're having some issues right now. I'll be right back." 20 minutes later he brought my correct order but it was evident it was hastily made. I also ordered a chocolate Oreo shake and there were hardly any Oreos in it and the entire shake was grainy. Worst shake I've ever had from Sonic. There is no need to work across the street from this location and have to wait 20 minutes to get chili cheese tots. Then the young guy taking one or two orders out as it was not busy, didn't even know what I was waiting for. VERY ALOOF individuals. He went on to ask if I was waiting on DOORDASH in which I was the ONLY one in drive thru mind you. This was very, very disappointing. Start snatching these LAZY people's jobs if they don't appreciate the work. Paying them for what??? And then NO compensation, no apology. A young lady who just came into work after waiting 15 minutes had to bring my order out. Call the 800 number on your receipt and REPORT this place until they SHUT IT DOWN or FIRE these baboons. Don't support businesses or workers like this. Save and give your money to the locations that care and matter. NEVER again will I allow this place to make me LATE to a 30 minute break I was on and took me 2 minutes to drive into order speaker, just to wait 20...
