I stopped in here today on my break because it was nearest my work and I had an extra 20 bucks to spend for me and my coworker. It was afternoon so there were only 3 people on shift which was understandable but I don’t know why they left the clearly brand spanking new guy in charge of the register because he was clueless. I ordered two drinks and a bunch of snacks, and asked him to put my $20 I had onto my gold card. My total was a few bucks over which was fine, I was just going to pay the difference with my credit card. But he put my entire total on my credit card and forgot to ring up a couple croissants. I went back to him to tell him I was wanting to pay with my gold card, and the difference on my credit card. But because we already did the transaction, he literally told me, “I don’t know how to do that,” That was it... didn’t bother to grab a coworker that would know how to fix it. So. Just totally lost out on 20 bucks worth of stars. There were a few other things that bugged me on my visit but losing out on the stars just because he “didn’t know how to do that” and clearly had no intention of getting someone who could really irritated me the most. Last time I’ll stop in this particular Starbucks, should have drove a little farther to my regular one. I really wish Aspen’s didn’t...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of this location, never had a problem. But last week I ordered my usual Grande for pick-up and when I came to the pick-up station I didn’t recognize my drink at a first glance: Grande was half full. I asked the male barista if something was wrong and he said that this is how they ALWAYS make a drink (how “always” if I drink it almost every day for a year and it’s been always a normal size?). He was very rude and very unpleasant with me. I went to the cash register and I asked for a refund but the male barista involved to the discussion his colleague and they both starting discussing me and how they were right and I was wrong (if I am wrong, I am wrong, but when I pay for a grande beverage I am expecting to receive a grande beverage), for $7 drink it was too much headache. I placed exactly the same order at another location along my way to work and received a full grande cup. Very disappointed with personnel at this location (and by looking at other reviews, I understand that serving half orders is normal here, good to know to avoid this location and not support...
Read moreThis Starbucks is by far the best in the area. I'm a very picky coffee drinker, and this is the only Starbucks that never gives me issues. I typically order a Cold Brew with light cream. Many of the other Starbucks around San Antonio will automatically put Classic Syrup in my drink even though they were not asked to do so and the drink doesn't come with it. Most of them don't understand what "light cream" means either as they tend to put so much cream in my coffee it tastes only like cream with a hint of coffee as if I had said "make it so the coffee is very light in color". This Starbucks has never given me that problem no matter the time of day or who is working at the time. They are also fairly quick compared to most Starbucks around town as well, I can usually get out of the drive through line in 10 - 15 minutes during peak times, and 5 minutes or less during other times. Keep up...
