Here at The Rim, they make the best coffee, but I had a bad experience at another location. Unfortunately, I donāt know exactly which one it was. I tried to file my complaint through the chat, but they couldnāt help me because they wanted me to send the photos I have. I couldnāt do that because their chat said I couldnāt send images at that moment, and the agent told me they couldnāt help without the photo. So, Iām posting my photos and sharing my bad experience here. Yesterday, I was traveling from Dallas to my home in San Antonio and made a stop at a Starbucks location. Iām not exactly sure which one it was, but I think it was in Temple off Interstate 35. I went in and bought a vanilla frappuccino for my son, a strawberry cream for my daughter, and a Caramel Ribbon Crunch for myself. The latter was a huge disappointment. I usually love it; itās my favorite, but this time it had no flavor. It tasted only like water with a hint of something. I always get it with almond milk, and it never tastes like the milk because the caramel, sweetness, and coffee flavors usually overpower it. But yesterday, it tasted like milk. Additionally, Iāve always received my drink with the cup covered in caramel, but this time it had nothing. I asked for extra crunch on top and bottom, and the bottom had no crunch at all, while the top barely had any. It was very disappointing. Since I was traveling home, it was impossible for me to go back for a replacement. When they handed me the drink, I was in a hurry because I was running late to a commitment in San Antonio, so I didnāt check or taste it until I was already on the road. Thatās when I realized the caramel was missing and everything else was off. On top of all that, my kids wanted a sandwich, but there was absolutely nothingāno sweet or savory options, nothing to eat. I had to buy two bags of chips that they sell there. This situation is really frustrating because you always want your food to taste the best, and your products are not cheap. Having such a bad experience really makes me not want to stop at Starbucks again when weāre traveling on the road. The best experience Iāve had has been at the Starbucks on the Rim in San Antonio. I paid with my debit card, and I believe the store number is 1871, according to whatās listed in my bank app. 5āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø for the Rim but 1 for the live chat and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live close to this Starbucks location, near the Rim, but try not to come here often because of my experiences with low-grade service. Iāve made about 10 visits to this specific location in the past 6 months. It has been my experience that one woman, in particular, tends to work the drive through. She has never been friendly and has never smiled, which has made the visits uncomfortable and unpleasant.
I wouldnāt have bothered posting a review about my past experiences with one person, but after my visit today, I feel compelled to provide feedback.
Iām in the middle of moving out-of-state. Itās cold and raining and Iāve had movers all morning. I decided to go back to the Rim location due to convenience. I waited in the drive-thru for 25 minutes, which is unusually long. When I arrived at the window, it was open. A young blonde and young gentleman appear to be working the drive-thru together. Neither of them seems to know Iām there because they donāt acknowledge me. Then, the woman I normally see at the drive through walks up. She looks at me, doesnāt say anything, and then looks back at the other two.
After about 30 seconds of this (feels more like 5), I decide to say, āhello.ā Still no acknowledgement or greet from any of them. Just backs turned to me. I couldnāt believe it. After waiting 25 minutes, I decide itās not worth it. I tell them, āforget it.ā And begin to drive away. Thatās when they turn around. It takes losing business and creating a DETRACTOR to get their attention. I suspect there is a lack of strong leadership at this store and poor training & development. Otherwise engagements like this and the others Iāve experienced wouldnāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot sure where to start. The welcoming was not what I am use to from Starbucks. I placed my order and my name was not taken and my coffee sat on a counter for a good while until I got up to ask. The store was not busy at all. Then when I went to sit the floor and table were dirty. I cleaned my table. Then I looked around and the floors and tables were very dirty. I stayed because I needed to get some work done. I was thinking at some point they would clean the tables and floors but no, that did not happen. I stayed for about an hour. It was slow and no one ever came to clean the dining area. I was shocked because it was very dirty. I'm sure Starbucks headquarters would beyond disappointed at the state of this coffee shop. The staff was cheerful and laughed while they worked so it looks like they are happy to be working for Starbucks but definitely not representing the company. I hope someone tells them that this is just bad business. I donāt live in SA I am just passing through. I hope it gets better. It's such a...
