IHOP — Restaurant in San Antonio

Was here a few nights ago with a friend grabbing a late dinner around 11 or so. To start off one of the waitresses at the front door looked so under the influence of something she was literally falling asleep standing. Another waitress sat us in her section took our drink order and returned about 5 minutes later. This seemed a little ridiculous seeing as we were the only table she had. Anyways after she took our order we waited for a very long time to be served our food somewhere between 25-30 minutes to be exact. While we were waiting I noticed our waitress as well as almost every other worker in the restraunt, people from the kitchen, walk outside to a car and proceed to get high in the parking lot as if nobody could see them literally passing a pipe around. The second she finally made her way back inside (now almost 30 minutes later) she went to the kitchen and returned with our food. Which makes me wonder how long our food was sitting there, wasn't cold but definetly not hot either. I ordered an omelette that is supposed to come with sour cream, it didn't. But since our waitress went right back outside after dropping our food I never had the chance to ask for it since she never returned until our food was already done. Very unprofessional. I don't expect a 5 star dining experience but this doesn't even deserve 2 stars. The only reason I'm giving that much because another waiter in the dining room (Anthony) who had a table of about 15 people as well as a few others was working his butt off! He deserves 10 stars! The only worker in the entire restraunt not only doing his job but doing it very well. He cashed us out at the front, despite being busy (everyone else outside) and even made small conversation with us and was just overall friendly. Y'all need to seriously consider some of your staff here and enforce basic rules such as "don't get high in the parking lot in front of customers". And Anthony deserves a raise!!! And some...

My wife put in an online order as there was the 2-10pm special and the app stated the order will be ready by 925pm... wanted to make sure we avoided the Fiesta Texas crowd. I arrived and saw nobody at the parking lot except a couple outside sitting and a young lady that ran back in through the backdoor only to be at the inside front entry behind the cash register. Next I tried to open the door when I noticed a couple 8 1/2 × 11 in paper signs saying workers will not be back until 10pm. So what does that mean for my order? I tried to get the attention of the person inside but no luck. I spent over 1/2 hr there trying to get her attention and figuring out what to do since I already paid but did not get my meals. I finally gave up after 45 min and told one of my daughters to file a complaint. Also since we still did not have any finalized dinner plans and because pf this inconvenience we managed to finally eat after 2 hrs. 1130pm.

My wife after a couple days later received a call from an assistant manager and said he was sorry for the inconvenience and our money was to be refunded after 3-5 days but contradicted us by saying there is no way the store was closed. We had a heated discussion as I told him i took pictures of the store and that people were trying ti get jn. I said there's something wrong and strange going on here so I told them I wanted to talk with their district manager. So we shall see how this is...

The Hostess in the wheelchair was abrasive , didn't put into consideration we had a baby carrier and toddler. Seated 2 similar number families before us (for some reason I don't understand) then came up to my mom uncomfortably close to tell her she wasn't ignoring us. Then seats us in a booth closest to the kitchen and says we can't get a high chair and there will probably not be a place to put the baby carrier ....ok well if that was the case ,wait to put us somewhere else, where we would all be comfortable right? No. I was pretty upset and hangry at this point I just put the baby carrier in the farthest part of the booth which barely fit. Our waitress was kind though but very busy. I understand that, it was brunch rush. Our orders were slightly wrong not terrible but I didn't even want to ask for what I was missing , just got over it and ate on. Other waitors coming out of the kitchen spilled several things on the way out , splashing my mom on her leg. She's not one to complain and didn't say anything. Being seated in that booth , something also smelled awful not sure if it was a guest or just the kitchen , but smelled like B.O. Oh on top of that , restroom was out of service for a little while just further making the brunch experience more uncomfortable. I definitely won't come back to...
