It’s been a hot minute since I visited this place (and before I became obsessed with reviewing restaurants! Thanks to those who have started following me by the way!) Wow! This place has improved. It was good before. It is GREAT NOW! First off, I love their Houdini glasses of beer. You will know what I mean when you see it. The staff member who greeted us was warm and friendly and chuckled at my magic beer jokes and allowed me to try before I bought my beer! The crust was good before. It is miles better now. I had the Billy Goat pizza and it was AWESOME! The goat cheese gave it a wonderful creaminess and mouth feel and the bacon added a nice smokiness. The red onions added a nice sweetness to it. Well balanced! Hubby had the Wine Country pizza. He says it was awesome! The cheese was creamy. The meat was perfectly cook. The jalapeños added a nice freshness (and a little heat). The ranch just brought it all together. He said he would get it again! I joked if he wanted some dough with his pork! He had the whole drove of pork on there! Hot pizza, cold beer. What’s not to love? Maybe I’ll have warm beer and cold pizza when I get home to bring back the college days feelings!

A simple mistake wouldn't be corrected. We asked for a 16in Stout Special, half cheese only. We were given a Texas Pepperoni, half cheese. Simple mistake . Now I will preface this by saying we have 2 kids with us and time is not exactly in our favor. I brought this to the attention of one the staff members and she immediately went back to talk to who I presume was the manager that night. There was some shouting in the kitchen and the manager came out. First off not a single "sorry for the mix up" or "I apologize" or "how can we fix this" . I was approached as if it was our fault for ordering the pizza we wanted and not getting it. We were offered a replacement 10in pizza which unfortunately would not work since we had kids waiting. We were offered a salad which also was not something we wanted. We asked if we could simply be reimbursed for the price difference since it was almost a $5 difference but the manager made a big deal about it only being like $2. By that point I just wanted to eat and get out of there. It's not my fault that we didn't get what we ordered and paid for. But it is Stouts fault for hiring someone who doesn't know how to take care of their customers

I am not a pizza eater but when I tasted their pepperoni pizza the first time a month or so ago, I Loved it! The crust is exceptional and served piping hot. I am not a fan of Marinara sauce but it sure tasted great with their pizza. Today, I came with my hubby as he ordered a calzone and me, a Meatlovers Pizza! As expected, it was so good! And when I have leftovers, I can heat it up 30-45 seconds at Microwave and their pizza is as good as it’s served in their resto. That crust remains crunchy. Another thing I like are the very friendly and helpful staff. Eric, the Chef, took the time to answer any inquiry we have and the server, Isaac, was so personable and took some time to make sure we are satisfied with our meal. It’s such a exceptional experience as nowadays, you don’t even get a smile/greeting when you come in most food establishments. Price is a bit high but worth the taste and great experience. Will surely add this to the restos we frequent.

Came to stouts last night after my soccer game at mainland sports complex. I had previously came with my sister a while back and enjoyed the pizza. I was craving pizza and recommended my bf we stop and order pizza to go from here since he had never been here before. Unfortunately the service was not good at all. I felt we were discriminated. When we arrived I spoke to the girl at the cashier in English and was translating to my bf in Spanish everything since he doesn’t know the language. She seemed like she didn’t want to work. She asked for my number and told me they would call me once my pizza was ready. Literally waited more than an hour for our order. We even ordered wings online from WingIT a couple minutes after ordering our pizza here and the wings were ready before the pizza. I noticed other people that where not hispanic who came in and ordered after us where getting there pizzas before us. Literally they would have there takeout pizzas taken to them at there table. They where also given a table number which the girl never gave us. As I was patiently waiting I noticed several boxes of pizza just there on the counter. The girl at the front counter was just walking around in the front. I continued to wait assuming it wasn’t our order that was on the counter. Still no call from the girl. Mind you I went up to her 30 min earlier to double check that she got my phone number correct since I never received any text like most restaurants do when you are on a waitlist letting you know your order was submitted and will be notified shortly when it’s ready. She confirmed my phone number and said it wasn’t ready and that she would call me when it’s ready. Which I was okay with waiting a little more and sat back down. Finally after waiting another 30 min or more our patience ran out I went to the front and the cook from the back right away asked what I needed. I’m not sure what the girl was doing she was just walking by the counter as if she didn’t want to work or didn’t want to attend us. I told him I’ve been waiting for my order for a while now. He asked for my name i gave him my name and he then grabbed the pizza boxes that where on the counter and said it had just came out. I didn’t want to fight back because I’m not that type of person. However I felt very disappointed seeing that that was our pizza on the counter. I saw it was ready on the counter for more than 10 min without being called or having it taken to my table. The pizza was good but the service was very bad. I regret recommending this place to my bf. We will definitely not be...

Based on the fact the owner of this establishment is a total douchebag in his response to negative reviews, I look forward to his what should be multi-daily douche cleanse responses. We're from the Northeast and know good pizza. I have waited some time to try stouts (let's leave it lowercase because the owner's ego alone can inflate that in his response) only to be completely let down by your horrible ordering system, seating system, substitution system, and customer service. After succumbing to multiple disappoinments we went to finalize our order... We just want the Greek with pepperoni instead of mushrooms and onions! Despite the benefit they would gain is subbing two for one, we were told, "No, you can't do that, but we can charge you the extra topping", quickly followed by "you could build your own if that's what you want." That would have been a damn expensive build your own! Local businesses... Or this place that for some reason thinks they are better then that because they have a vineyard need to understand who we are (nothing special and just I guess Northside trash to take advantage of). Take care of everything, because you never know who may walk through your doors! The biggest insult was they used our leaving as a way to show the girl in training how to delete an order right in front of us! The last said, "in this case, you need to push this..". Whatever happened to real customer service? I will say based on all my experiences, this is the worst restaurant in San Antonio ran by the biggest douche bags! I'd like to meet the douche bag responder that discredits others negative reviews with sarcasm! Opinions are opinions....

We came here week ago..ordered a 14” 1/2 Supreme and 1/2 chicken bacon..paid $20..the cashier/staff was prompt and looked he enjoyed working there..went tonight 11/01 order the same..cost$34..wwhhaattt!! so a 35% plus diff??🤨..manager said that it was inflation..bs..not that much..that’s a bit much.and as to the other staff person couldn’t get it either..I looked on menu..this would have been really simple..cost of complete supreme and chicken/bacon divided by 2..would have been little more at about $24…they said pos terminal “couldn’t do that”..ok, if the staff can’t do simple math and convey “the why” so high price other than “inflation” and make an dumb blame it excuse saying that the other staff “didn’t do it right”.. saying “..anothe is excuse was “if we give you that price of we would have to gv it to the ppl behind us”..what!! ..the ppl behind couldn’t even hear us and they have nothing to do with us challenging this..excuses excuses again.. dang, just do the right thing even if it’s hard..the restaurant business has really taken a downhill in service last 2 years..if anyone doesn’t like the work then excuse yourself from that hospitality industry..it’s that simple..and if you need/have to work, well folks take a course in theatrics..fake it till...
