Read moreTacos al pastor de trompo are hard to find. We came here all the way from New Braunfels just to get the $1 pastor tacos on Tuesday after seeing a reel on FB! Service was quick and friendly even on a busy night. Place is impeccably clean.
Tacos Al pastor were very pretty good, and we enjoyed them. The meat was a bit on the dry side, but not terrible. As other people reviewed the meat was cut up and cooked all the way instead of sliced from the trompo. That was disappointing. They came with a little bit of pineapple on the side. Only two kinds of salsas. Red and green are blended and runny. I wasn’t a fan of them.
We may stop by again when...
Read moreHad been wanting to go here, saw a reel on FB from a foodie I follow. There was only 1 or 2 other people there. Clean, quiet, only thing they couldn't do was put the baseball game on one of their many tvs. It's located in a busy strip right near Evers and 410, we were surprised it wasn't busy. Will return to try another meat, maybe over the baked potato next time. I truly hope they are successful, in this economy where many of the low key places I enjoy are having to shutter...
