I really wish I could rate a zero. I purchases my vehicle from these people in June 2023. Immediately, began having issues. I mean HUGE issues. My engine was bad. I went through wareanty, since I had purchased it, just to be told their finance dept AKA owner/wife never paid my warranty. The dealership was advised to replace my engine, BUT still to this day there is no proof what work was actually done beacuse they refuse to.provide any proof of what was purchased and put into my vehicle. Upon completion of the engine swap... NONE of my panels were put back on. Matter a fact.. they are atill sitting in my trunk AND they never replaced my engine cover! They literally screwed me. Fast foward, my engine was supposedly replaced. I had a mechanic check it out and was told my spark plugs were old, broken. 𤣠YAY me! I called and called requesting my pancels to be put back on and for my engine cover to be replaced and was given the run around. The whole situation is really unfortunate. They took advantage of a single mom with a very limited income. Now i'm in a situation where my car keeps shutting off while i'm driving it. I am being told it's in my best interest to just get rid of the car, but my credit is not great. I am upside down on this vehicle. I understand these people have good readings from other people. And I am so happy for those people, but overall, I just highly suggest choosing to work with someone else. As you read the reviews, you will see how mixed they are.And that is not a good thing. This company is inconsistent and inconsiderate. Through all the problems I had, the owner could never face me and even apologized for all the many inconvenience. Instead, he wrote me a check to pay for my car payments.During the months in which they had my car trying to replace the engine. I definitely appreciate that, but it doesn't amount to the eighteen thousand dollar car debt that I have for a car that doesn't work. If they truly put their customers first, they would be taking this car back. I have filed a complaint with consumer affairs and what the people that licensed dealerships.
If anyone is currently working with a lawyer, you can reach out to me and I will be happy two communicate and provide any evidence.I have of...

Just a heads-up to anyone thinking about buying from R and L Auto Group in San Antonio â our experience has been extremely frustrating, and I want to share it so others know what to look out for.
We traded in our Mustang on October 18th, and were told the dealership would pay it off within 20 days (Texas law allows up to 25 days, which would be November 12th). As of now, our bank still hasnât received the payoff check, yet the Mustang has already been re-sold, meaning weâre still making payments on a car we no longer own.
We also didnât receive any paperwork on the day of purchase. Later, I called in the morning to ask that our paperwork be ready for pickup that same day since our new truck was also back in their shop for a repair. Even with that notice, when we arrived, the paperwork still wasnât ready, and we waited a couple of hours before finally getting it.
When they finally prepared the paperwork, they left my name off of it. When asked to add it on the day of signing, they refused and said, âcouldnât I just add it when we refinanced it?â â which was completely unacceptable. We refinanced the vehicle with Randolph Brooks, who for whatever reason refuses to work with the dealership.
When we reviewed the documents, we found our interest rate was 6.8%, not the 6.5% we were told at signing. That difference, plus the delay in receiving documents, raised serious concerns.
Throughout this entire process, everyone I spoke with at the dealership was evasive when answering questions. When I finally spoke with the office manager (co-owner and wife of the owner) about the Mustang payoff and the $300 GAP refund, she was rude and told me the check would be sent by regular mail by the end of the week, not overnight as we had been told earlier.
*At this point, I just want to warn others: make sure you get all your paperwork before leaving, verify your interest rate, confirm that your name is correctly listed on all documents, and check when your trade-in will actually be paid off. I really wish our experience with RNL Auto Group had been more transparent, organized, and...
Read moreDo not buy here! They are scammers! Purchased a vehicle and tried giving my mom a 13% interest rate. While her score is in the 800s. When I spoke to them about this, they come back and magically were able to go down to 6% interest rate loan. THEN added an extended warranty to the vehicle she did not want. When she tried to cancel, told her to come back in 2 weeks. Itâs been a month and thereâs no such contract in place. Even extended warranty said this was SKETCHY. We got charged 3,000 for an âextended warrantyâ that does not exists. When I tried talking to the manager Manuel about this, he laughed and said âwhatever and hung up on me" extremely unprofessional. Now looking into legal matters as they financed a service to my mother that does not exist!
UPDATE- they still refuse to cancel the 3,000 extended warranty that does not exist and sold my mom a truck that does not have a clean title. They said it was, and the insurance pulled up the history of the vehicle and it was not a clean title. They refuse to resolve the issue! So itâs only one problem after another with this scam of a company!
UPDATE- 11/28/2023 The bank the dealer used to get the loan CANCELLED the loan. The truck was towed and taken away without any notice from our home. We gave 5,000 cash down payment they are refusing to give back for their fraudulent loan application. The response you see on this review is not how they are acting. They refuse to help and now took the truck away AND is keeping $5,000. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!
Update- 12/28/23 Again, do not believe ANYTHING this company says in regard to the situation. They reply professionally, yet cussed me out and hung up on me and my mother. When we went in person they refuse to help. They are not new to scamming people. They processed the loan for my mother, the loan got cancelled because the truck did not have a clean title. Which the bank explained they do not do loans for vehicles with those types of titles. Then they took the truck and stayed with her $5,000 down payment. They are disrespectful, thiefâs , and have no remorse for what they did. Do yourself a favor and donât...
