Me and my grandson went to go have dinner there today which is Wednesday and I ordered a plate that has a puffy Taco a flauta and cheese enchilada.. another way to brings me a puffy Taco by itself on the plate and me Fabian looked at each other I asked him this is for me and he said yes so I took it and started eating it when they brought my actual plate out there was a puffy Taco on it and I explain to our waiter the other way that brought me this puffy Taco I didn't know if it was to my plate or not don't worry about it I'm going to ask you never came back so I asked the original waiter that took me the puffy taco there's another puffy Taco on my plate I didn't order two puffy tacos and he said I'll go ask..... Neither one of them came back so I started eating off of my plate I ate the flauta then the enchilada but Iwas full so I asked himfor a to go plate I put the puffy Taco in there and my beans and my cheese that I had ordered and when the bill came they had charged me for that extra puffy taco I said I didn't order it y'all brought it to me he goes well let me go talk to the manager so then he comes back he said what he said you ate it you have to pay for it I said well you can take that other puffy Taco that I didn't eat and take this off of my ticket he went back to talk to the manager he comes back with the clean plate opens up my to-go plate was going to take out the puffy Taco with a dirty fork that I had on my plate but he second guessed himself and he went and got a clean fork... I took the puffy Taco out.. I told my grandson they're going to throw that out I hope they don't put it on somebody else's plate they're not going to eat it cuz I touched it.. but they made me feel like I was trying to get free food when I told both waiters the mistake. Read moreUpdate Jan 2025: I wrote my original review six years ago and we decided recently to try going again. It was a childhood favorite and I wanted something nostalgic. I thought, maybe the service has gotten better and they were just going through a rough patch. I’m willing to pay a little more these days to support local and I remember the original brothers who ran this as a family business and talking to the one at this location before choir competitions in the mid 2000s but I’m guessing he’s moved on and whatever this is now…I think it’s time for us to move on too. From lemonade that tasted like they juiced whole, unripe lemons without washing them or taking the stickers off to enchiladas who’s cheese a member of the family that loves lunchables described as “cheap tasting” — this was a prime example of how being an adult just means you can never go home again. But hey, the drive through speaker seems to work better now?

I’ve been coming here since this location opened. Years and years it’s been a favourite and for that And the fact that the food is still better than taco cabana I give it 3 stars.
However, Prices keep going up, service stays the same or worse. They’ve been pushing their app very hard, offering a discount to use it, and when we finally tried to use it- it didn’t work. We drove over and explained that to them, they said they knew about the problem and then took our order. The speaker system is terrible in the drive through so that was as miserable as usual and when we got to the window we were told again that they knew about the problem. We didn’t ask for the discount we would have gotten but we definitely noticed that they didn’t offer.
I don’t know if management had changed or some other issue but it seems the bigger and more popular they get the less they care about individual customers. And that’s just sad, because I grew up with...
Read moreSo we came to this restaurant because we liked the tacos and were in the mood for some food as well and since the dining room was now open we decided to go inside and eat. Straight away we found something wrong and we didn't want to make a big deal so we just told the server on the low because we also work in the food service industry and didn't want to embarrassed the restaurant so we brushed it off. Anyway 5 minutes go by and we get approached by the manager of the building and of course I wanna note we have a 7 month old who is being a bit loud because he was hungry so of course there was nothing we could do because of course the food wasn't there and we couldn't feed him. We were approached by the manager and he told us to possibly quiet down our child and I'm not going to be directive in what was said because let's face it we like this place and giving it a bad reputation is not our intention but due to the encounter our children didn't want to eat.. so of course the food was packed to go and we left the children's dishes untouched on the table because at that point we were extremely embarrassed and the children of course didn't eat so we requested to have it taken off.
