Office Depot — Local services in Leon Valley

Very disappointing experience today. When I first went in, I wasn't greeted as such. But I had a question about printing services so I went over and greeted staff and asked what I needed to ask. They told me to go to the other counter and "Josh" would be right over. Well, Josh wasn't! It took me 5 minutes of waiting then maybe 5 mins or so of faffing around with self service and getting my printing job maybe half way done (a big job) before Josh finally came out of hiding. In that time no one else offered to help me so I wasn't waiting and to add insult to injury, the other staff there were doing NOTHING! After I got my print job, I looked around a little bit and had seen something I wanted to purchase for my little girl. By this time one bloke was at one counter and another at the "greeting desk" whatever that is. The bloke at the counter was helping an old lady with a chair, by that I mean he's layed out on the floor looking for a price or something. Knowing he is taking rather long with this and hadn't acknowledged me by telling me he be right over, I asked the other guy at the desk... can I pay with you? He told me "No, X will serve you" ... I told him "Well X seems to be busy so don't worry about it"....

To sum up my poorly written review... The service sucks, and the staff are rather rude. I will be escalating...

I was so impressed with a person working at this Office Max. I believe he may be new and I sure hope he stays. I entered Office Max not owning a computer but wanting one. Joshua greeted me and offered his assistance. I explained what I wanted and he listened carefully and showed me 2 computers that were exactly what I wanted. He taught me about the GB and the memory and the programs and the services offered at Office Max. He showed me how he would be setting up my computer as part of my package so when I take it home it will ready to start! He showed me the bundle package where I can my get tech support and warranty. He didn’t mind explaining things to me twice if I didn’t understand. I felt so safe buying my computer here. I understand my warranty, I understand my tech support and he is providing the initial set up that comes with the bundle so I will have the virus protection. I sure hope Joshua stays because he is the best thing I have seen happen to Office Max in a long time. The store is nice and the products are good. It’s always been the staffing that’s been problematic at this store. Keep Joshua!!!! And Thanks Office...

Should i say negative 5 stars.....I don't even know how to begin expressing how managment allows their employees to treat customers with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I encountered Ms.Trina at the photocopy department let me rephrase that Trina she is uneducated and ignorant and therefore doesn't deserve to be called a Ms.This women literally harrased me questioning me about a previous representative that had assisted me and through all this the store mamager was right behind her ignoring the situation on a personal call and just telling her to put the phone on silent cause it kept on beeping and was getting on her nerves.. take in consideration that customer was on hold for over ten minutes. Truly despite people who come to work with an attitude and take it out on customers . Especially so early in the morning. Thank u TRINA for ruining my day. I will not be going back to that store for do I encourage people to deal with...
