As someone who has experience as a cook, food podcaster, competition cooking, writes food critiques my first experience was as a customer here over three years ago. It reminded me of my mom's cooking as my mom was raised in Monterey. She knows how to "sazon"(season) her meat. The red and green salsa’s are always fresh and spicy, the meat is juicy and tender and the consomé is rich with birria flavor.
