Tacos Regios "La Silla" — Restaurant in San Antonio

As someone who has experience as a cook, food podcaster, competition cooking, writes food critiques my first experience was as a customer here over three years ago. It reminded me of my mom's cooking as my mom was raised in Monterey. She knows how to "sazon"(season) her meat. I first fell in love with the charro beans, next it was the quesadillas & the mini tacos. I loved the food here so much I started cooking here part time. I love coming to “taco regios la silla”. The food truck owner Rosie always makes the best quesobirrias. The red and green salsa’s are always fresh and spicy, the meat is juicy and tender and the consomé is rich with birria flavor. Rosie was born in Monterrey, she definitely cooks her whole menu like a regia would. I can order to go and expect it ready when I arrive. Ordered the quesabirria tacos. Consistently so good. The owner has wonderful customer service and is very kind. I don’t eat at food trucks very often but here I’ll make an exception no matter the weather. Something about it always hits the spot.
