I am usually okay with this location. But today’s visit was totally disappointing. The drive thru person I am guessing was savanna since that’s what on the receipt. As I we pull up, her facial expression was totally not happy and hating her job. In my opinion as drive thru employee’s customer service is very important and your job is for people to want to come back. Of course, we pay and get our 7 drinks and we’re asked to move forward with no please or thank you. We did. We finally get our order all of it cold not even hot and fresh. I’m checking to make sure we got all of it. We realized that she did not give us gravy and I was able to say ma’am. She turned looked at me and walked right back in. So I got off and knocked on the side door 3 times. Finally supervisor comes out and says “uh-huh...”. Not even like yes ma’am can I help you. Let her know what we were missing and she was like okay. Goes back in to get em. Comes to bring it and I say “thank you.” Her response is still uh-huh. So totally disappointed with the poor customer service and cold food we received. I mean I ordered 7 meals but for them to not be fresh is pretty disappointing. Maybe I will try another location see if that is different So I came again 8/15 and on receipt it was Sonia but the manager didn’t even have a name tag. I get to the window and they have a promotion on the app. I tell her about it and she was like I would have to void ur transaction and then do it. I understand that there was a long line but Whataburger always has long lines. I don’t know why things on the app get promoted but nothing gets honored bc it takes them too much time. I don’t know but once again was a bit disappointed. I mean we always spend over $50 so I don’t understand why customer service ain’t too...
Read moreI’m never one to complain but whomever cares about customer service should be aware that on Aug. 25th at 8:07pm Lane A the young lady taking and giving orders was incredibly rude. When I pulled up both lanes for orders were open, after pulling in the Lane A, about a minute I hear “I’ll be right with you” totally fine. Then a car pools up to Lane B, gets their order taken right away and pulls up, ok fine. Moments later a second car pulls up, gets their order taken right away while still waiting to place mine. Finally I say “Hello” and get my order placed. Arriving to the window, I am handed my drinks and receipt. After a few mins the young lady opens the window and asks for the receipt back, this has literally never happened and I found it odd but without question I hand it back and she asks me to pull up so I do. I had a kids meal and a bacon burger that I was waiting for, that’s it. I pull up while still watching Lane B fly by with service and orders. After 5 mins she comes out and says “can you pull up so the person behind you can get around. I told her flat out, she has been rude this entire time, no courtesy, no apology and I can literally only pull up about another 6 feet, so I tell her where do you want me to go, even if I pull up they cant get around and she says “well that’s what I told them”, I ask her what is taking so long, she says they are short staffed. I finally get my meal and I still thank her and she just walks away. Also I did not get my receipt back, probably so I wouldn’t have her name. I get that the job can be stressful and you know I can wait not a big deal, but your not gonna be rude on top of that. I’ve worked in customer service forever and this is unacceptable. Total waste of money, I’ve lost...
Read moreSince CoronaDrama, safety measures are taken into account with is always assuring to observe. also line of the few fast food companies still open 24 hours. This all being said, Whataburger is consistently good as far as the food goes, so I hate to pen a negative review. However. For honesty's sake. I have been here countless other times, they are sometimes good, sometimes bad, but (maybe only compared to other consistently good Whataburger locations), they have gotten the order incorrect maybe one third the time.
Yes, they were packed, but this is no excuse. There were several individuals in our party, so it took several minutes to get out the order. Notably, things like saying "a la carte" only to be followed with the associate asking, "What drink do you want with that?" obviously not making things any easier. When we (finally) got to the cashier, she requested our order back, only to get it incorrect. We verified it, only to have her snap, "that's what I said". Even though we all heard otherwise. She told us in no kind means that we needed to speak up when ordering and then there was some grumbling as she pushed to close the window closed in front of our faces.
Then we had to move ahead, waited another ten minutes, which is fine, except when we received our order it was missing an extra side of onion rings. Couldn't be bothered to flag them down though, at that point. Le sigh. Also not sure whether this is standard, but did not receive any straws or ketchup or even napkins! Only received what we precisely ordered. Oh, wait. Not...
