Yuyu's Piñas — Restaurant in San Antonio

Visiting San Antonio and my wife found this place on yelp. She initially wanted a mango dessert but when we got there decided to go with the mango coconut and jicama combination dessert. The kids ate ice cream and shaved ice

I didn’t try her dish but the shaved ice was the best shaved ice I have ever had. It was dense and pure like snow. I know that sounds over the top but it’s the best description for what this is. There were no big chunks of ice. The flavors were also super-intense and rich. Not just syrup splashed on some ice.

My wife enjoyed the mango, coconut jicama thing.

We were in San Antonio for 5 days and went there 3 times. Mainly cuz my wife liked her dish that much.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all , im not sure what is wrong with this place now that they mess up a lot and have a attitude. The lady in the kitchen is very rude telling me i was stupid for asking for something and they misunderstood me . So when i asked the lady that wasn’t what i asked for , her and her son which was the one in the register started giving me my money back instead of giving me what i asked for . Since i stepped into the store the kid with glasses in the register was already giving me attitude.. He kept sighting each time i asked for something, They could’ve simply change my order instead of denying customer service , i went in with my daughters and were having a good time until this...

I am obsessed with this place of course I am obsessed with shaved ice, but this is my neighborhood shaved on us and they have everything that you would need if you wanted something from a fresh or fresh treat from Mexico all the way down to the snacks that they have like Funnel cakes, those corn cups, whatever they are may notice she dies in various flavors and the prices are pretty good if you pay cash you get a discount so it’s worth it to do that.
