Update - As it had been awhile, we returned to Alfredo's today. The food was still consistently good and they neighborhood was still a disaster. However the service we received, was, to my surprise, nothing short of terrible. The place was at less the 1/4 capacity, so we couldn't figure out why we were completely ignored for 10, until I had to catch our servers attention to ask for waters. A couple minutes later she brought water and took our appetizer order. She returned with our appetizers, took our main order and she did not speak to us again. Towards the end of our 5 person meal, we were out of water and needed things to pack up. Our waiteess was in the rear of the restaurant, so I had to catch the attention of the hostess, who had been on her cell phone for most of our visit. She came over and was helpful providing bags, containers, etc. for our party, however her patience did get her patience tried by two of our elderly mothers asking 3 times for a trip to the back for different items, lids, bags, to go cups. After I paid and tipped only half of what I normally leave, on the way out of the door I caught the hostess, who said the owner wasn't there. I just let her know in a positive, calm manner that we had been ignored, but the food was great. I leave all of these long-winded details so as to be sure and be fair and accurate as to my perspective. In closing and making a long story short, My family and I will not be returning there for dine in. It's a shame, as I've been going there since I was 18 years old, but there are other, customer focused options.

The food is as good as I remember it as a kid; the neighborhood is not. Whatever you do, don't drive your best car, wear jewelry, carry a wallet or have your gold teeth in or you may be in for trouble. Also, make sure that your typhus and TB vaccinations...

My waitress was first a bit rude, after taking the drank order she goes to the table next to ask and ask the parents if the daughter wanted some crayons the girl had to be 4. My son heard he and said mom she giving me crayons and i said im pretty sure honey. As she comes back my son says "may i have some crayons to?" She completely ignored him. And i repeated it for him and she nothing nor looked at me. Some comes back a few moments later to take the order, she starts with my self before my boyfriend couls order she stops and walks away. I found it old so i asked my boyfriend did i say something . he said no all you said was for my son to stop jumping. I was shocked. She walks by 2 times serving food to another table and then comes back to me and hands me my salad i said i wasn't done ordering my boyfriend wants food too. In a rude attitude shs said you already order pizza , i said yes for my son not for us. She rolls her eyes and my boyfriend ordered. She come back with our food didn't give us a knief or spoon just a fork. My boyfriend food was horrible my food was fine my salad had about 2 handfuls of cheese. I thought i order a salad not cheese . We leave to pay we were so upset we didnt even want to eat anymore. We paid the lady ask no tip? I said no she was rude, she left in the middle of my order, she didnt give me my utensils atleast not all them and plus the food my bf order was awful. I am not one to not tip i love tipping! Makes me feel good about helpi g the waiter or waitress. But when you get service like this its a...

Alfredo’s Pizza & Pasta in San Bernardino was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The menu was promising, with photos that made the dishes look delicious and descriptions that gave us high expectations. The food even looked decent when it arrived at the table, nicely plated and presented well. But the moment we took our first bite, everything changed.

The taste was shockingly bad. Nothing had flavor. It was bland, overcooked, and tasted like it had been sitting out or reheated. The pasta was mushy, the sauce tasted watered down and artificial, and the shrimp was rubbery and lifeless with barely any seasoning or freshness. We tried to give it a chance, thinking maybe one of the dishes would be better, but every plate we ordered was just as bad. It was difficult to even finish the meal, let alone enjoy it.

What made it worse is that the staff didn’t seem to care. There was no effort to ask how things were, and when we did mention the food was disappointing, there was no apology or attempt to fix it.

We came in ready to enjoy a good Italian meal, but left completely unsatisfied and frustrated. Unfortunately, nothing about our experience would make us want to return or recommend this place to anyone. If you care about quality food and flavor, Alfredo’s is not it! Stay away is...

I have been coming here for years with my family, but I went today with my family, and we decided to change things up a bit and order a Fettuccine “Alfredo” added with chicken. HOWEEVER, when I ordered this (along with some pizzas), our waiter didn’t confirm what our order was. Granted, it was busy this day, so there were people coming in out of nowhere. Once our food came, my sister and I noticed that our Fettuccine Alfredo was NOT Fettuccine Alfredo. We told her this, and she said that that’s not what I ordered. She then whipped out her notebook where she took our order (and didn’t confirm with us) and showed it to us, revealing that it was a Chicken Parm. Now, you may think that I misordered. I also did take this into consideration; however, I’m the type of person who is PARANOID about ordering wrong, so I pointed to every word on the menu that I wanted to order, so I KNOW that I for sure ordered correctly. My family and I suspected that since there were so many people coming in, our waiter was distracted and didn’t hear me correctly and just guessed what I ordered. When we brought it up to the waitress, her attitude changed a bit. Overall, the food was great, but I’m the type to be more picky about the service.

UPDATE: 04/06/25 I have not visited in quite some time. Brought family for a Sunday lunch. A bit of the old magic is gone. Service slowed down a bit. Food tasted good, but not as quality and overall value depleted slightly. Still, best Italian food in San Bernardino and a definite go to in the Inland Empire. Past Review: Enjoyed an early lunch at this San Bernardino institution. The atmosphere hails of Italian heritage through this family owned and operated restaurant. Generations of familu manage this ever evolving eatery. It had been three years since I visited, and the moment I walked through the door, the son still tidying up for the opening of lunch greeted me as though he recognized me. I asked him, "do you really remember me?" He said, "yes, you used to come in all the time with a tie and suit." It was true. That type of service and creating relationships with customers is unmatched in the area. God bless Alfredo's Italian Restaurant and its posterity!

Took nearly an hour to get our pizza AFTER we were seated. (something about the cook losing our order) Then, they drop off a burnt, inedible pie, which was so scorched, it had huge, charred boils on it, and the crust tasted like Chinese drywall. when they asked how everything was, and I said the pizza was half burnt, and mostly inedible; she shrugged her shoulders and said it looked okay to her, and kept pushing. Why ask if you don’t care? I can overlook most of this, but the foul, nasty, condescending attitude was sickening AND we left hungry, and $20 lighter. To their credit, the manager (upon seeing our state of disgruntlement) offered to make us a new pie - um. thanks, but no thanks. I was also heartened to see my car was still in the parking lot when I returned to it, and the windows and wheels were still intact, though had it been there much longer, who knows? This place is an epic FAIL
