If you're craving a full-on Indonesian culinary experience, Marlin Indofood Restaurant is a great place to visit. They offer a wide selection of authentic Indonesian dishes, and I had the chance to try a few standouts: rendang, nasi kuning, mie goreng, and tahu balado.
The rendang was absolutely delicious – tender beef slow-cooked in rich, spiced coconut gravy. The flavor was deep, slightly spicy, and full of traditional Indonesian spices.
Their nasi kuning (yellow rice) was fragrant and flavorful, with just the right balance of turmeric and coconut milk. It paired really well with the rendang and side dishes.

What’s great about Marlin Indofood is the variety. Beyond what I ordered, they also serve other Indonesian favorites like pempek (savory fish cakes from Palembang) and mie ayam (chicken noodles), so there’s something for everyone.
