This place has been around for years but surprisingly, this was my first time here.   When you walk in, it gives off the vibe that it used to look like the elegant but homey vibe.  It still has the same vibe just a little worn.  From the outside it is definitely a hole in the wall, you wouldn't think it was that big from the outside. I think we were one of the first ones here?  We were greeted and seated right away.  It wasn't too busy when we went but you can see the regulars slowly coming in. We ordered: Nilagang bulalo - Hot and fresh for the cold afternoon.   It was very meaty and had a variety of vegetables like carrots, potato,  and bok choy

Pork sisig - I'm not sure why I was expecting it to come out sizzling, surprisingly it didn't.   After mixing it the flavors were on point.   It was the perfect amount of spiciness from the jalapenos, crunch from the onions,  and saltiness from the soy sauce. This is one that I highly recommend,  maybe even with a fried egg on top or garlic rice.  It's also perfect as is with steamed rice.

Pinalutong tadyang- I thought this would be crunchy and hard.  It was the opposite, it was tender and didn't need much to get it off the bone

Pancit bihon- I liked there was a lot of noodles and not all vegetables like some places.

Service was good,  food was delicious,  and reasonably priced.  A lot cheaper compared to filipino restaurants nearby.   It's not bougie, it's home style cooking good ol comfort food.   I will be back soon and try their other items.  The breakfast plates people were ordering looked delicious and the portions...

I use to love this place a lot. But it is not the same place I once knew. The quality in food, service, and atmosphere has all gone down hill. The waitress here did not seem happy and was stressed. She yelled at a customer when he asked her if her order was ready, and took a very long time to get people's orders and drinks. I understand it is hard to serve people l if you are the only server, but let's not yell. We ordered Crispy Binagoongan and they did not include mangoes. We also ordered singing with fish and the fish tasted like it was going bad. This place also felt very sticky (our booths, the baby high chair, the bathroom door, actually the entire bathroom). I mean I can get down with dirty places, if the food is good, but the food is not good. We were lucky we didn't get sick. I want to support Filipino businesses, but I also don't want people to think this is how Filipino food is. I am sad to say that I will no longer be...

All I can say is "yuck"! This place has gone down big time! Use to come here quite often a few years back. Prices have gone up, quantity has gone down and quality is bad. We ordered beef tapa it was not tapa (which is supposed to be a bit softer than seasoned jerky). The beef was like chewing rubber with soysauce, even after chewing a while it was hard to swallow. The lechon kawali was so fatty that when I bit into it the grease squirted out and it had a bad pork flavor (like the pork was old and ready to go bad). The Pancit sotanghon that was suppose to have pork, shrimp and vegetables was all Noodles, found three small pieces of pork and one shrimp it had a lot of carrots though. After eating here my stomach hurt for the rest of the day and couldn't eat anything else. Big disappointing experience that will not...

I celebrated my birthday here, and I am delighted we did! Everyone here was friendly and nice. The food was served in less than ten minutes, and it was fantastic. I had pancit, and my husband purchased Kuya’s Special. We all love their food! When they discovered it was my birthday, they gave me a mini cake! How thoughtful of them. I highly recommend this place if you want excellent customer service and authentic customer service. We will be back!

Food and service were great, as always. Ginatang dessert is one of the best I have ever tasted. They can make special dishes, like I did with kawalisilog. The gulaman sago (the original boba drink) was great! We also got free soup while we waited for our order. We always go here when we're in the area; we live over an hour away. There are parking in the rear if you can't find street parking at front.
