really kind of disappointed. I was super hungry and wanting to go in and already had decided from the pictures in the window what I wanted to eat, only to go in and find out that they don't take credit cards, and they were 3 big signs on the register indicating CASH ONLY! - That was very inconvenient because I was super hungry and had to drive around to find a place that wasn't super crowded with holiday shoppers... (see my other review on where I ended up... IHOP).
So before I left, I decided I needed to use the restroom and went to the restroom door. (OMW to the restroom, I spotted an ATM machine in the dining area, which told me why they choose not to take credit cards so they can reap the rewards of the convenience fee charged at the ATM.) Next to the bathroom doors, were 2 OTHER big signs that read 'Customers Only... NO RECEIPT NO KEY!'
Clearly the manager doesn't understand how unwelcoming this sort of signage is to a new customer. Understanding people like I do, I got the impression that this manager was NOT very caring about his customers. I know there's other restaurants in this chain that DO accept credit cards, so I will now frequent those instead of this one! I don't go to places where one gets this...
Read moreThey could do better. Their chicken katsu and spam musubi is sufficient. The first time I had their cheeseburger, I was impressed by the freshness. So naturally I ordered it on my second visit, but was unfortunately disappointed.
The burger was wrapped in a burger wrapper, placed in a container with hot fries, the placed in a hot and tied plastic bag. I only had a 10 min drive going home, but the burger look whooped. The bun was smushed in all different directions, possibly due to the plastic container it was it. It was super soggy due to the way it was packaged. The lettuce was so soggy that when I bit into it, the whole thing just pulled out of the burger. I should have taken a picture of that mess:

Read moreI know all locations are different, but this one definitely isn't the best. When I walked in, the woman at the register was very friendly and polite but there was a sign That said cash only and they had an ATM which was fine. Minor inconvenience.
I ordered spam musubi and garlic shrimp and then went to the bathroom while I waited. The bathroom was dirty and did not have any hand soap. They had a big jug of hand sanitizer on the front counter but they should have soap in the bathrooms.
The spam musubi was okay, but the garlic shrimp was not cleaned at all! I was literally scooping fried poop from the shrimp. The shrimp was way over cooked and I just couldn't get over the fact that they split The back end of the shrimp but didn't clean it.
