Taco Bell — Restaurant in San Carlos

I ordered one of their box meals. When the order came, only one of the things in the box was correct. There should have been 4 item, but my order only had 3. I had to go up to get the other item. As I opened the items in the box I had to go up 2 more times in order to get what was supposed to be in the box, and not the random food items that were given to me. When I asked to speak with the manager, none of the employees answered. I can only assume that there was no manager on duty.

As I was refilling my beverage, the kitchen staff must have thought that I left because the younger woman working there was complaining loudly about me. When I let her know that I was still in the restaurant and heard her very loud and unprofessional comments, she snidely said the I got everything that was supposed to be in the box now.

When I tried to contact a manager the next day, there was still none on duty. I have left a message, but I have not heard anything yet. I really don't expect to hear back from the manager, as I do not believe that whoever took the message will give it to them.

On a side note, a patron came into the restaurant with a dog (not a service animal) in a bag. I know that you can bring your dog into the outside seating area of restaurants, but the customer sat in the restaurant indoor seating area. There used to be a sign on the door letting people know that animals were not allowed, but I guess it was removed.

If you don't mind playing "Russian Roulette" with your meal and being served by rude, snide, unprofessional employees who yell at customers, then this is the place for you. If not, I recommend that you go somewhere else. It is not worth the time, effort and aggravation to actually get what you ordered at this fast...

Reading all the bad reviews for this place makes me laugh a bit. I don't really get it because my visits here have always been good. I remember coming in on a busy Saturday around 11:45 AM. The place was super clean.

I usually get the Mexican pizza and the classic crunchy tacos. These have been my favorites for the last 25 years. The best part is, they always taste the same. The pizza is full of different flavors and the tacos are fresh and crunchy. I look forward to these dishes every time I visit.

The staff here is also friendly. They work hard and always try to make sure the customers are happy. I think that's really cool.

Some folks complain a lot. But, I think they forget this is a fast-food place, not a fancy restaurant. You're not going to get food made by some world-famous chef. But for a fast-food joint, the food here is pretty great and always the same.

In short, I enjoy eating here. The place is clean, the food tastes good, and the staff is nice. I can't wait to have more Mexican pizzas and classic...

I go to Taco Bell when I am in the mood for vegetarian. Ordered pretty much the same thing via the app about 6 times. Over time, I've become very impressed by the extent to which they screw up my order...nearly every single time. And look, it's Taco Bell so in terms of quality, I'm not expecting gourmet level food: but this time, the depths of underachieving were plumbed with such great alacrity that it made the Mariana Trench look like a ditch. It's really a stunning example of work ethic. I would really love to to learn their secret because it's not simply unnatural: it's ungodly. I'm giving it two stars because it used to be a good one which is why this WAS my go-to. It's back to making food at home, I guess. I'll save more money that way anyway; it's not like living in this area is cheap. So, I guess what I am trying to say is, thanks...
