There are plenty of other companies and locations...if you can, go somewhere else.
First, this was the third (3rd) visit in a row where they were sold out when we got there. They clearly have plenty of business, so they act accordingly and treat you like they don't need your business.
My son had a party to go to for a classmate today, so I made a reservation for my daughter online.
When we got to the park, someone checked my daughter in pretty quickly. When I mentioned that I still hadn't paid, everything went off the rails.
Apparently, I made the reservation for a two year old by mistake because their website isn't well marked and the spot where you check to select what you are reserving only offered one choice...CHILD. The part where it lists a two year old wasn't clear...but I will concede that it was there when an employee showed it to me. I just would never picked it up because it wasn't entirely clear and the site didn't say THEY WERE SOLD OUT.
When I asked why my daughter couldn't jump, the "friend" (that is what a staff member called them) that came over to help told me we didn't have a reservation. A pic of it is attached to the review.
When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there wasn't one in the premises.
It wasn't until I made a fuss about it that another Team Lead helped and corrected the situation.
Then, my son, who was there for a birthday party was denied access because we have the old Rockin' Jump socks. We paid quite a bit for them (just like the ones they tried to force me to buy today), so we've kept them and use them whenever we go to a trampoline park.
When I said something about that, the staff member (who called them friends) said, you have to understand that all of our "friends" are new. While I didn't say this, I was thinking, "training?" That makes me think if they skipped something this simple and benign, what else didn't they train their people for.
Next. I have a real safety issue with this place. They NEVER have enough safety staff and there are parts where NO ONE MONITORS OR MANAGES safety. The spot where you run and jump into the foam pit is a perfect example. They never have someone monitoring that attraction and on the odd chance someone is there, they don't actually manage safety. While I know it's my responsibility to manage my children, I worry when a child twice my daughter's size jumps into the pit while she is there...and they do nothing to stop it. Today, they had someone there, but she just stood there and did nothing while I watched kids jump in while my kids were in the pit. I posted a photo of her holding the wall up.
Also, while I was watching my daughter line up for the zip-line, the staff member climbed down and walked away without telling the kids anything. I had to tell them to wait for a staff member which took about six minutes for another staff member to replace them. They will remember that because the three who argued about who would go (the one who walked away wasn't one of them) did that for about 5 minutes until one of them relented and went to manage the attraction.
When we went to leave, my daughter's shoes were missing from the cart WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO PLACE THEM ON. While several staff members were fairly helpful in trying to find them. Melissa clearly wasn't one of them. I was asking another staff member if she found them, and Melissa inserted herself into the conversation and told me, "We aren't responsible for stolen items." I'm sorry, but if you tell me that I have to put them somewhere WHERE I CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM, YOU SHOULD BE. But, she's right. They have it posted that they aren't so they couldn't care less that my daughter is now missing her favorite Crocs.
Lastly. They don't keep it very clean and trash is just all over the place and there were random puddles in some locations.
The bottom line is that I bring my children here when I must...other than that, I avoid it. ...
Read moreThis place seems to slowly be declining. Went here for the first time in probably a year with my kid. Was asked to sign up again, which was a bit of an annoyance, but that’s fine that you have to do it yearly. The annoying thing though is that I asked for the summer pass. Three separate times I got offered a subscription three separate times I declined. They still won’t process my order and now another girl comes over and I’ve got two of them telling me all the benefits of a subscription and I keep telling them I just want the GD summer pass, and still have to suffer for about six or seven minutes while they keep trying to sell me something and I keep insisting I don’t want it. Needs to wake up and stop putting pressure on these kids to stop trying to force subscriptions. We know it’s free money we know there’s probably a commission but when somebody says no the first time, leave them alone. Don’t just keep coming after them aggressively. We almost left but luckily I’m not gonna break my kids heart. Finally got summer pass but I’ll tell you what I’m probably not gonna use it because once you get inside, it’s all the same identical stuff that was from four years ago, but just rattier conditions. All the foam squares are falling apart, they’re still empty bottles and balls underneath of all the equipment from ages ago not to mention dust and dirt. The food prices look to have doubled since the last time I was there no I’m not paying $15 for a personal size pizza when we could just drive down the street to 7-Eleven and get an entire large pizza for 10 bucks. Staff doesn’t seem to monitor things like the zip line and so there’s two teenagers hijacking the thing while little kids can’t even try it and it wasn’t even really hot weather, but the place was just kind of musty. It’d be nice if they added some ceiling fans to circulate some air. Anyway, overall disappointing but luckily kids don’t seem to care about any other stuff adults do so for them I’m sure it was five star experience because they got to have ice cream and bounce around. Also, as far as the name sky zone? We ignored those emails for like two years because we thought it was one of those places where you go and do the indoor skydiving. We had no idea they rebranded. Rockin jump makes so much more sense...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience with planning our daughter's birthday party here.
We book well in advance for a birthday party that required their largest accommodations on 12/15/22. The party was supposed to happened 2/4/23. We dealt with an event coordinator by the name of Aaron Love. We ironed out all the details and paid the deposit and thought we were good to go for that date.
Approximately 3-4 days before the party, someone calls to confirm our reservations and go over the details.
They tell us that our reservations was for a room that can only accommodate the smallest amount of persons! I told them that was not what was agreed and gave them proof of our reservation and that we need their biggest room to accommodate all guests.
They tell us there must have been a mix up and that there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to Aaron and they informed me that he was no longer employed with the company! They gave us suggestions that were out of this world!
Disinvite people to reach an appropriate number of guests ( 3 days notice!) crazy. Change the date of the party! (I booked this 2 months in advance to actually take place on my kid's birthday) Only have kids in the room and have me and the wife chaperone all 30 kids! While the parents wait outside.
At first, I was in disbelief of these suggestions. This was in no way our fault but they wanted us to drastically change everything.
We asked to speak to management which lead us down the same road. NO suitable solutions.
By the end of the conversation, it was clear that they weren't going to remedy this situation. We asked for our deposit back and scrambled to find a different venue in 3 days time.
Here is another kicker. They NEVER refunded our deposit! I had to file a claim to my credit card company to get my money back!
Needless to say, they will never get our business and I will dissuade anyone from giving...
