Took the crew to Handel’s in San Clemente and let me just say—this place is dangerous (in the best way). The flavor list is ridiculous (in a good way). I thought I’d just grab one scoop… and walked out with a sampler flight. No regrets.

The kids were in heaven—Birthday Cake and Blue Monster were the big hits (bonus: they looked as fun as they tasted). I went with Salty Caramel Truffle, and it was rich, creamy, and absolutely worth breaking any kind of “just one bite” rule.

The portions are no joke—a single scoop is basically the size of a toddler’s face. Great value, but maybe split one if you don’t want a sugar-fueled marathon afterward.

No indoor seating, but the outdoor benches worked fine. The staff was super sweet, even when my kids took forever to choose their flavors (classic).

Bottom line: Handel’s is a win for families, ice cream lovers, and anyone with taste buds. Come hungry, bring napkins, and don’t expect to leave without a new...

What an exquisite experience! I avoid the mundane, as processed milk and refined sugar do not agree with me, nor with anyone else! Yet, I found myself in the company of whimsical friends, and we ended up here for the evening! Truly, I feel as though I hail from another world! I’ve only ever had one “fair” encounter, and I’ve been coming to this chain for years ( across the country) amazing customer service!

Tonight really took the cake, my daughter with food allergies was able to eat REAL ice cream out with us for the first time, because the employees were able to tell us exactly what allergens were in EACH ITEM!
