Starbucks — Restaurant in San Clemente

Very disappointed. Came in through the “drive thru” last night I was probably the last customer. The very hot venti latte I ordered spilled all over me and my vehicle in the “drive thru” either because the lid was not on properly or the cup was deformed. I exited the drive through parked and knocked on the front door to see if I could get some napkins and replace my coffee… or heaven forbid possibly clean myself up in the restroom…The employee who approached the door wouldn’t listen to anything I was saying and just said there was nothing she could do and that she couldn’t open the door. As I was covered in hot sticky coffee and syrup you can imagine my frustration I dropped my coffee said thanks a lot and left. Well somehow magically at that very moment the door was able to open!! I was then told to “act like an adult”. My wife was not so pleasant with them when I returned to the vehicle.. corporate has assisted and made things right. I’m sure this location has such a low...

I believe in very fair reviews. The positive: The employees at this location seem genuinely nice. That's it. The rest is shockingly bad. For the 3rd time in 3 attempts (I'm in the Starbucks membership program), this location has claimed to have something (ham & cheese croissant), available to order via the app, only to get to the pick up window and "Oh, I'm so sorry sir, we don't have that thing that you drove way out of your way for...can we switch it out?" NO. There are 3 SB's closer to me. The only reason I came to YOU, waiting literally 25 mins in your ridiculous drive-thru was because you said you had this. Other locations show "not available". But wait, it gets better. Via the app, my order asks for "no ice". You guessed it, they put ice in. I would trade a nice, cheery attitude for simply getting my order right. In other places, I don't have to make this trade off. I won't visit this location again. They had me, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but fool...

Typical Starbucks. Nothing new, except the store! The Inclusion storage is neat!

Out of CBIC when I was there...next to a school and summer in San Clemente... think they’d prepare for that.

Made my ice coffee well!!

There was a woman with a blonde ponytail, getting very “bossy” around her coworkers and complaining loudly about not getting a break. She was destroying the calm vibes.

They were screaming disingenuous “hellos” to people, not one person looked up to make Eye contact. Although I really liked when the barista announced she was starting my beverage. I like that!! Good idea!!

I believe the shift on duty, the coffee master, was a man and seemed very calm and just going with the flow, but that other barista, was stepping on his toes a lot.

Also the lobby was destroyed and they swept near the ovens 5 times. But that’s nothing new at...
