Stopped for a quick bite on our way to Long Beach from San Diego. I picked this place because it had a good rating but I didn’t have my hopes too high as our Mexican food in San Diego is so good. This is some authentic, filled with love chicken. We got an assortment of quesadillas and I don’t know which one I like the most. The chicken is cooked on a grill in the middle of the dining room so there is no hiding what they are doing. This is a nice mom and pop type place where they probably spend too much time and too much effort on their food, and we are the benefactors of that. The chicken was full of flavor and juicy, not slathered with a bunch of sauces to mask what it really is, just good chicken cooked right. The cheese and tortillas were awesome. The Carne Asada quesadilla was just as good, you could really taste the quality of the meat as there are only three ingredients. The place was clean and everybody was friendly, and I especially like how they cook the chicken in front of you. The only criticism I would have is I don’t get the salad thing. It seems a lot of places in OC/LA like to put lettuce either next to or in the food. San Diego doesn’t have time for lettuce in Mexican food. The guacamole was placed on the lettuce which makes it very difficult to enjoy the guacamole on your quesadilla without having a bunch of lettuce mixed in. Next time I will remember to ask for no lettuce. Overall this is a great experience and we will look forward to stopping in on...

My family and I were visiting the area and looking for a quick bite to eat. We came across Surfin' Chicken and are so glad we did! Everything was so good, we didn't even remember to take pictures of our food! My husband got the suadero tacos which are not found at many places and they were cooked so well! The meat was super tender and flavorful. He also tried the chicken burrito and said the seasoning was really good. Definitely try the green salsa with that! I got the shrimp tacos and the blend of flavors from the mango salsa, chipotle mayo and shrimp seasoning were perfect. Our kids cleaned there plates which isn't always the case. One had the shredded chicken tacos, one had asada tacos and the other had a cheese quesadilla. We also enjoyed the variety of agua frescas they had available. Last but not least, we finished our meal with the homemade coconut pudding and it was the perfect ending. We will definitely be back when we're...

Riverside -Moreno Valley inside Walmart location. This place is horrible and disgusting.. The staff is rude and will not give out the corporate number. The managers are always in the back room. The food is undercooked and sloppily made. They will also deny service based on your look attire and prejudice. There's A MANAGER Pauline Ybarra and Rigo that will gladly curse you out and cover for each other. They will spit in your food.Don't waste your time eating here customers are not appreciated or treated with decency. If you pay attention they don't wash their hands or wear gloves while preparing your food. They will also not accommodate or refund if you're unsatisfied. These are the same managers from the McDonald's that used to be in the same location if you ever ate there before you know what I'm talking about.Disgusting hygiene and terrible...

TOP RESTAURANT in ave pico san clemente area. The chicken here is unbeatable so far. No lathering of bbq sauce or obnoxious flavors. Straight fire chicken bathed in garlic and lime, along with the jalapeno sauce or Chile de arbol, if your in time get the posole, if your a salad person get a bowl, with the shrimp, so many delicious options, definitely a MUST STOP at san Clemente. The owners Joan and Karen take pride in there small restaurant and its noticeable. Great job surfin chicken.

We can easily see why the reviews are GOOD!! We just got what’s shown in the picture and we shared it. Whole chicken. Mmmmm!!! They did recommend, to a customer that came in after us to call ahead. We too will remember that. NOT only is the menu on the surfboard but a whole other menu on the counter. We can’t wait to go back and try out other items. Side note: spoke to a customer who has been coming here fir years. She highly recommended the ribs!!!
