If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The first time we ate here it was amazing, so I know the staff are capable of quality control when they want to be. The second time we came here I ordered my food with corn tortillas instead of flour because I'm allergic to flour tortillas. Not only did they serve my food with flour tortillas, but when I brought the food back and explained why I needed my food made the way I ordered it they handed me an empty to go container. The staff member then told me to take my food out of the flour tortilla that I'm allergic to and empty it into the extra container so I could eat it. I stood there arguing with her for at least 5 minutes about what a food allergy is and why I can't take the filling out of a flour tortilla and eat it without the tortilla. She simply did not comprehend allergies or food contamination. The third time we got food here, they took our money but did not give us the food we paid for. When I explained that some of the food we ordered was missing, they asked me what I wanted them to do about it. We did not receive our food or a refund. Fourth visit (3rd strike)...we ordered rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese thinking there was no way they could mess it up so long as it made it into bag. Couldn't have been more wrong. The picture below was taken after getting home with our food. When we opened the container a fly flew out of it and we were hit with the overpowering aroma of rancid, moldy food. It looked like someone threw up on our rolled tacos, sprinkled moldy parmesan cheese on top, let it sit out for a day, and then served it to us. Needless to say, we are never going back. I strongly recommend to anyone looking for quality Mexican food that they run as far and as fast as they can, in any direction other than the drive thru or front window of Adalbertos. Revised: Every time we made a purchase here, the receipts showed a different day, month, and year from the actual purchase. No wonder they don't give refunds.

First of all, the Carne Asada Torta COMES WITH FRIES!?! Seriously?!? I couldn't take pics of the fries because I ate them on the way home, there's only half of the Torta because when I got home, I sat in my driveway and ate the other half...O.M.G. absolutely the best Carne Asada Torta I've EVER had, I'll gladly drive from Alpine where there's 7 Mexican restaurants, past another 100 or so, just to get THIS Torta...AHHHHMAZING for real! Next let's talk about Lucio & Uvia, please forgive me if I misspelled either of your names because you're the nicest people ever, I'd come back just because of you even if the food wasn't stellar, but THE FOOD IS STELLAR, I'll be taking this way home from now on, can't wait to try the rest of the menu but it's going to be hard to order anything else but this...Thank you for making my "Torta Thursday" the most epic ever!!

We ordered Uber Eats, and message said food was delivered but it was nowhere to be found. I called driver and he did not speak English. Finally I went out to road to try to find him and direct him to our home, which is not hard to find. When we finally got food it was cold and tasteless. Three of the dishes had add-ons that were not enclosed. The enchiladas were not cooked at all... Cold unmelted cheese in a tortilla with sauce on top (see photo). Rolled tacos were cold and soggy, and the burrito and quesadilla were also cold. Very very disappointing experience, first and last.

I've been here a few times. Like most places the food looks better during the day than the evening. It all tastes the same. Sadly I most often come here late in the night, after a long day. It's the only late night fast food in my area.

On this occasion I had worked a very long restaurant shift. Lots of non stop hustling to make customers happy. Now at the taco joint, I placed my order and watched the cook blab through the window. He read an order, blabbed with the window girl, then started the order. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. On at least two occasions I saw him screw up an order half way through, blab to the window girl, then restart the order. What should have taken just a few minutes for my order took nearly 30 minutes.

I told the girl at the counter that her cook should spend less time talking and more time cooking. She offered no apologies, only excuses, "There were a lot of orders before yours."

Then he should spend more time cooking and less time talking.

The restaurant is a block away from my house and I...
