TLDR: Great pizza and environment. Boneless wings should be skipped.
Environment: The location in Carmel Mountain is quite nice. Although it gets busy, there should be plenty of parking around the area. The surrounding area also has things like Kung Fu Tea and Krispy Kreme donuts. Since Covid, Best Pizza and Brew has amped their outdoor seating. There’s plenty of seating inside as well.
Service: The servers were always kind to us when eating here. Definitely no complaints here!
Food: Delicious! See below:
Garlic Knots: As you can see through the pizza window, their dinner roll breading a look great. When ordered, the rolls are drenched in garlic sauce and can come with ranch or marinara sauce. Verdict: Definitely worth it.
Buffalo Pizza: Has the great buffalo taste to it. The design is awesome with the rings of red sauce. Be sure to get ranch on the side for it! Verdict: Definitely worth it.
BBQ Chicken Pizza: Just as you would expect. The chicken wasn’t too dry and the bbq sauce wasn’t overwhelming. Verdict: Worth it.
Meat Lovers Pizza: Comes with pepperoni, sausage, salami, and bacon. Has a great crunch and flavor to it. Verdict: Definitely worth it.
The Works: A classic combo pizza. Can’t go wrong here. Verdict: Definitely worth it.
Boneless Korean Wings: Extremely salty. The flavor tasted good at first but after the first wing, you’ll taste all the salt that’s under...
Read moreReally not impressed with the food and pretty appalled by the management. I brought my dog as I was told this place was dog friendly. Before ordering I asked if I would need to sit outside. I was told no, inside would be fine. So I ordered dine in. Received my food then half way into my meal the manager on duty (about 3 pm on 2/12/2023) comes over and insists I move outside because I had a dog. It’s not an issue that there’s a designated area for dogs. But it is an issue that 1) I was lied to and 2) I’m asked to move in the middle of my meal with zero assistance from said manager. To top it off I repeatedly asked for the heat to be turned on and was told the manager was busy and she’d “get to it as soon as she could.” The heaters at this establishment are controlled by a switch and literally just needed to be turned on. They never were. Guess this manager wasn’t concerned about having repeat customers or just generally doing her job. Really disgusted with her behavior and...
Read moreI have only ever reviewed a restaurant once but feel it’s important to review when senior management should be advised. Today I went for lunch with my husband and 2.5 year old son. We entered and was asked how we were… we respond good thank you. We were so concerned with ordering and getting to a table before our toddler had a meltdown we did not ask the staff at the till how they were. He proceeded to say “ I’m fine , thanks for asking” … I did respond with “ I’m sorry we are just so concerned with the great pizza in front of us “ …. Of course everyone has their own expectations of interactions with others but looking back I find this really rude and condescending. The food is fine, atmosphere good but I’m not looking for etiquette lessons , especially when I am being polite and thankful… his demeanour was uncalled for and rude. Hopefully this employee can find a nicer way to interact with...
