We've been coming to this store for the last year or so and our order has been incomplete or incorrect at least a dozen times. The only reason we keep coming back is bc the location is convenient to home/work
The issues we've had all involve not getting what we paid for. Here are a couple examples:
Avocado Toast w/ Extra MicroGreens. Sometimes we don't get extra microgreens and sometimes we don't get ANY microgreens at all
Horchata Iced Latte w/ 1 extra shot and cinnamon cold cream and they don't add the cold cream
Obviously it's frustrating to not get what you ordered, but the infuriating part is that the store management doesn't seem to care or want to do anything to correct it
If they don't have microgreens, they'll still take your order, add the upcharge, then hand you toast with either no microgreens or substituted with arugula. At other food & drink places, someone would inform you that they couldn't make your order, apologize, and offer a partial refund or full refund. At this location it seems that the policy is just to hand the customer their order and hope that they don't notice
I was told by one of the managers (Junior) that if they indicate that they don't have microgreens, then the app will take the Avocado Toast off the menu so it can't be ordered. It seems to me if you don't have all the ingredients to make an item, then that exactly what they should do. But instead they just want to take your money. We've even waited to order until we get to the store, ask for them to verify they have microgreens, are told they have them, only to get our order without them. They also don't have any way to refund money for their mistake. The best they can do is make an excuse and maybe a half hearted apology
In terms of the coffee, they get the order wrong/incomplete much more often than they should. I'm not sure how they can take an order for a drink with only 2 modifications and it's handed to the customer with only one of them. After the mods, this is a $10 drink that I feel should be made correctly by a shop that specializes in coffee!
It's unclear if this is an employee issue (they can't read the ticket or know how to make an order) or if they were out of the modification and, like the toast, are just going to hope that the customer doesn't notice
Despite these issues, we've continued to return to this location in the hopes that our talks with the managers would bring about a change. But it's clear after our last order that things aren't getting better

They have an incredible number of staff, and in the mornings there are two people with tablets in the Drive-Thru line that take the order and your payment and they have a menu card ready to go. This place is all about quality, efficiency and value and a fantastic vibe. 🥳🎵🎶 The prices are absolutely better than the other place. 👍 And the selection and quality is hands down so much better. 🏆 When they say their coffee is the best drink ever they're not kidding. And their signature creamy vanilla makes the best vanilla latte you will ever have - promise. Although they don't have soy, they do have coconut and doing a mix of almond milk and coconut milk is a delicious substitution. The Moroccan Spiced Iced Coffee is delicious and unique, And they can make a hot version if you ask. The energy and atmosphere is super positive and there's a wide variety of people in the place. They have designated order pick up parking, as well as drive-thru, and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. It really doesn't get any better.❤️ Even the retail merchandise is fantastic. I can't get over how much better this place is and yet the prices are lower. Better Buzz for the win! Read moreFair warning: If you dine in, it's very noisy inside of this Better Buzz location on Mission Gorge. Aside from loud music blaring, the baristas need to constantly be shouting out patrons' names and items over the noise.
That being said, they did not have. Cortado on the menu, so I had to settle for the macchiato, which was okay. It offered a slight bitter aftertaste. Unfortunately, they don't offer dine in glass or porcelain cups as a dine in option. That's a bummer and a minus in my book.
At the counter, I order the almond butter toast with jam on multigrain grain for dine in. They gave me jam toast on sourdough in a to go container. I had to exchange it for the correct item. They young lady at the register missed the boat on that one. She apparently rang up the wrong item and put it to go.
In the end, the almond butter toast was tasty, but in the haste to get the correct toast out, they under toasted the multigrain toast. It was cold in the middle and was missing that good toasted crunch
