I'm not sure if you can just walk up to a human and order or if you have to order at those kiosks. I'm thinking you can but it wasn't apparent when you first get there and we ended up being like sheep and following everyone to those not-so-intuitive machines. If you need to customize your order like if you're looking for non-caff or decaf options, go to a human. Also, I get everyone's probably going here for the little toy. It's a $4.50 blind box. If you're into that, so it. If you'd rather know what you're getting for that amount AND you want a good drink, I'd recommend going somewhere else. Not sure if it was so incredibly busy on a Wednesday night that staff were overwhelmed and messing up drink orders and running out of boba but if 50% sweetness for a Jasmine Milk Tea (though I see now why the default sweetness is 0%) means twice as sweet as the same named drink elsewhere then come here if you like your milk tea REALLY SWEET.
I came here to find out what the hype was all about and was unimpressed. It's a cute venue and has cute blind box items. It's obviously very popular. But it's an experience I'm happy to only experience once.
Also, if you want, you can save yourself the trouble of ripping through the sleeve to get your toy. You can just pull the toy holding sleeve off the beverage cup and have a useful holder for your toy while you continue to enjoy your very...
Read moreI ordered online. The Doordash sites I tried to order on both weren’t available until 11:30am (tried to order at 10am), but the Square site was available.
The woman who handed me my order was nice - I felt bad because she was working on making another drink but mine was done so I had to awkwardly ask for it. I wish online orders were out to grab but understand why they’re not since people steal.
The drink itself was good, and was $7.10 (on Square, the boba was $0.90, DoorDash $0.80). I like how the taro flavor was not too overwhelming and the boba had good texture and flavor.
I didn’t much like the atmosphere, I like a bit more of a cozy vibe and white gives me dentist/office vibe, but I understand some places don’t want people to linger like how they do at Starbucks.
Overall, I would say this is in the top 2 for boba shops I’ve been to as far as bubble tea, as far as atmosphere it would be the lowest, but could be worse. For the curious, the other shop I like is a bit of a hidden place, it’s not even on Google maps and it’s been many years. It’s in...
Read moreMy friends and I came on a Sunday after 2pm and it was a little busy. They don't take orders at the front counter, you have to order at a kiosk and that's where the long line of waiting comes in. They only have 2 available and people take their time in choosing what they want. However, after you place your order there isn't that much wait, my friends and I probably waited around 10 minutes before our order was ready. I would recommend to check out the menu online, to have an idea of what you want and make your check out process quicker. I came here to get the Surprise Cup signature milk tea and I got what I expected, a super cute stuffy key chain! My total was $19.18 with the Surprise Cup milk tea/with 1 topping and a mochi donut. The donut was good at least the fruity pebbles flavor was and the milk tea was good too. Not extraordinary flavors, we all know what fruity pebbles and milk tea taste like but you come here because it's trendy, cute and for a little sweet treat. I will probably return with some more...
