I recently had the pleasure of visiting Breakfast Republic in Mira Mesa, and I must say that my experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant to the last bite of my delectable meal, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my visit. First and foremost, the ambiance at Breakfast Republic is delightful. The restaurant's trendy and modern decor, coupled with its warm and inviting atmosphere, immediately put me at ease. The vibrant colors and stylish furnishings created a cheerful and comfortable environment that was perfect for starting my day off on the right foot. The staff at Breakfast Republic truly went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was memorable. From the friendly smiles to the attentive service, their professionalism and genuine hospitality were exceptional. Despite the restaurant being busy, the waitstaff remained attentive and efficient, making sure that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of. Now, let's talk about the food! The menu at Breakfast Republic is a breakfast lover's dream come true. With an array of creative and innovative dishes, there is something to satisfy every palate. I opted for the "Lobster Benedict," and it was an absolute masterpiece. The perfectly poached eggs, succulent lobster, and velvety hollandaise sauce combined to create a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen. The quality of the ingredients used in every dish was evident, and the presentation was impeccable. The portions were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. Additionally, the menu caters to various dietary preferences, offering gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it an inclusive destination for all breakfast enthusiasts. To complement the outstanding food, Breakfast Republic boasts an impressive beverage selection. Their signature coffee blends were aromatic and rich, providing the perfect accompaniment to my meal. For those looking for something a little more indulgent, their specialty cocktails and unique twists on classic brunch beverages are sure to impress. In conclusion, my experience at Breakfast Republic in Mira Mesa was exceptional in every way. From the inviting atmosphere to the impeccable service and mouthwatering food, it's clear that this establishment has mastered the art of breakfast. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through, I highly recommend paying a visit to Breakfast Republic. Prepare to be treated to a breakfast experience...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Breakfast Republic and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly deserves every single one of its five stars!

First and foremost, the variety of options available on their menu is simply outstanding. No matter what your tastes or preferences are, Breakfast Republic has something for everyone. From decadent pancake stacks to savory breakfast burritos, their menu is a treasure trove of delicious choices. I was particularly blown away by their avocado toast and tostada options, which were both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The freshness of the ingredients really shone through, making each bite a true culinary delight.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the service provided by the friendly servers was top-notch as well. From the moment I stepped foot in the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive care. The servers were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations based on my preferences. Their genuine enthusiasm for their work really made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I felt well-taken care of and valued as a customer.

Another highlight of my visit to Breakfast Republic was their amazing coffee. As a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, I have had my fair share of cups from various establishments, but the coffee at Breakfast Republic truly stood out. It was rich, robust, and perfectly brewed. Each sip provided a delightful caffeine kick that complemented the flavors of the food wonderfully. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or simply enjoy a good cup of joe, Breakfast Republic's coffee is a must-try.

In conclusion, Breakfast Republic is a breakfast lover's paradise. The incredible variety of options, friendly servers, amazing coffee, and must-try avocado toast and tostada make it a dining experience that simply cannot be missed. Before heading out to catch our plane back home, we decided on breakfast at Breakfast Republic in the Scripps Ranch (Mira Mesa) area of San Diego. They actually have quite a few other locations in California.

We decided on Breakfast Republic because they had quite a few vegan options, which we always appreciate ... and they all sounded rather interesting. Honestly, I don't think there could possibly have been a bad choice, so it was a matter of making the best choice .. for us. Sandi opted for the Tres Leches Pancakes because well, she's a pancakes kinda gal :). I was torn between their Vegan Breakfast Burrito with beef strips, plant based eggs, fakon, vegan cheddar, cashew cream and more .... or the Veggie Pesto Frittata, an open face omelet with various veggies and greens, plant based eggs, sweet'n'sour tomato jam and more ... and ultimately opted for the former.

In addition, Sandi pointed out they had vegan Bloody Mary options available 🤗 woot woot, that's my favorite adult beverage! I opted for the tequila version instead of the vodka version, if only because every version I've had previously was with vodka so I preferred to try something different.

The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the vegan sweet buttercream really helping to elevate the dish! The Vegan Burrito was a monster!! Thank goodness Sandi was able to help me with this because there's zero chance I was finishing this on my own and I preferred not to carry food with me into the airport if I could help it. The burrito itself is huge, cut into two separate equal halves, on top of which you also have the black beans, mexican rice and, salsa - wow, just wow!! Their Bloody Mary was no less impressive, delicious with just the right amount of kick, a huge piece of celery, a gherkin pickle, and olives.

If you're lucky enough to be visiting California and have a Breakfast Republic near you, they're definitely worth the visit. Be sure to bring a full appetite and a friend to...

It makes me sad to write a crappy review but my friend and I wanted to grab breakfast and mimosas! She highly recommended it here and that their shrimp and grits are amazing. Upon walking in- it was crowded. A very large triangle table takes up 1/3 of the space- rendering it impractical. But the yellow chairs made things feel cheery. A lady kindly greeted us and with great excitement I expressed I wanted a mimosa! She sadly told me there were none available. Then the next choice- also- not available. I was becoming quite bummed as I wanted to enjoy myself with a little treat that morning with my friend. So we settled on a coffee. The staff was peppy and chipper but yet unkind in her words. Whether she realized it or not- her words impacted my feelings toward the place. I watched people wait to be seated and a party of 5 really wanted to sit together- but nothing was available. So they took two separate tables in the midst of waiting. I felt bad for them because they couldn’t even sit together and chat. I told them to move their tables- but they said the staff said no. So I asked the staff- and the lady who was waiting on us- told me in front of them- that they were fine and this is what they wanted- not listening to the fact that they did NOT want that. They mentioned the other party was from out of town and they wanted to be together. Instead the lady told that table that I was “upset since I got there so don’t worry about her”. Except lady- you arent listening that they are upset about it. Anyway.. she ruined my experience personally and I won’t be going back. Food was decent but I won’t tolerate the behavior she had.
