It was my first time coming here between 5:10-5:44 before I took my flight.I ordered my food it was 2 egg white santa fe sandwich on everything bagel and a Carmel cold brew. The cashier was very helpful and attentive he was never an issue. I received my bagel and coffee I walked to the charging station and noticed my bagel wants a every bagel so I first thought I had wrong San which so I asked a guy who was toasting the bagels hey I ordered an everything bagel. He aggressively said No you didn’t I was right there and You did not!I felt uncomfortable as if he was saying I was lying so I said is there a difference I gotta pay and he just looked at me.I walked off disappointed and I came back because I really wanted to try the bagels here.So I asked a different guy who was making coffees and he started doing the right thing by retaking order then the rude ass girl who was making sandwiches walked up to him to argue and say I didn’t order a everything bagel right in my face and being loud. She kept saying I was lying so I then became outraged because the lack of customer service is sad.I then got loud and said regardless if you heard me or not that’s what I ordered so if I need to pay the difference it’s fine! She kept arguing with the rude ass toaster kid. At this point I look crazy arguing over a bagel and I’m fed up I tell them I want my refund because this is crazy. The cashier confirmed what I asked for which was an everything bagel! He apologized when no one else did.The rude ass sandwich maker just laughed and continued to talk shit.I asked for a manager who had to come from downstairs. He walked up not concerned or worried about just happened.I told him what had occurred and he brushed me off as well like oh it will go back to your card and I said it’s crazy no one is apologizing or trying to make things right. He said you can get something from cooler.I didn’t get anything but my return and I left.this is sad.As a previous district manager for food establishments you all should reevaluate your employees and...

DATE: 15SEP2025, Approx. 1055.I haven't had Einstein bagel in over 3 yrs. I've been working overseas. I used to visit the one in Mission Valley by my home, almost 2-3 times a week! I saw the familiar sign and ordered the my usual Asiago bagel with ham/swiss/turkey. The food is always excellent! Coffee is also good and strong. However, what separates great establishments from the lousy ones is "Quality of Service!" I get it, you have a ready made customer base and you're in an excellent spot, catching hungry patrons just after checking in. But you still have to show a "friendly, welcoming" effort to greet customers! The person at the counter showed ZERO effort. No friendly greeting, ex., "Hello!", "Good morning.", "How can I help you?" etc. I made my order, she corrected me several times until she understood what I wanted. No eye contact, no friendly smile, minimal interaction. The counter wasn't busy during our encounter. She took my name, I paid (NO TIP!), a lot more expensive than I remembered! And, NO "Thank You, Have a great day, Safe travels" or anything. I always say, I'd rather visit an establishment with with good food with Excellent Service rather than return to one with great food and lousy service. BTW, the dining area was also dirty. Looking at previous negative reviews on Service, looks like Management have made very little positive improvement, if at all. Great Food, Lousy Service. Next time I'll just keep...

Ordered a mocha latte, got something that tasted like boiling hot and charred tasting black coffee. I lifted the lid to see if it was simply a bad black coffee but there was a layer of foam on top so it was just a very bad latte. At more than $6, while cheaper than some other airport coffees, it is still way too much to spend to throw it in the trash. I asked for my money back, which took some time (they had to call a manager) and they didn't credit back the tax (hence the low stars for service), but I fault the store management and not the personnel. The workers were friendly and understanding so this is not a knock on them. By the way, NEVER BE RUDE to your restaurant workers. Everyone deserves respect regardless of whether something went wrong with your order.

Update 6/25/2024 (8 days later) - I shared the same to the link you provided and have yet to hear back with even an acknowledgement that my feedback was received. Not batting 1000...

I am at this airport weekly. I love getting food and drinks from this location in Terminal 2 next to the security. Only thing is, you can't take drinks thru security so when I get here with extra time I always get a garden sandwich with an OJ. The ladies that work there are so kind. One worker has really high positive energy which always makes the start of my travel smooth. The cherry and Plain yogurt pastry is 10/10! I cannot describe it but has the perfect combination! This is a must try item! Thank you staff for always putting a smile on even while super busy! Keep up the great work!

Definitely not a good experience. I waited about 10 minutes just to place my order and another 10 minutes to receive it. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t offer mobile ordering, which could have saved time. I ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel with garden veggie spread and a cheesy veggie melt. The bagel had an overwhelming amount of veggie spread, and most of the cheese from the veggie melt was stuck to the wrapper. Overall, the taste wasn’t great.

Paying 2% for the privilege of having my order mixed up. Paid for a full sandwich and got a bagel while not discovering until the plane was boarded. This is why people hate this stuff. It’s not the 2%, it’s not the 36 cents, it’s the mandatory 2% regardless of employee ability or service provided. Crappy management is what it is. Pay good people to work and you won’t need to shake down your customers so you can afford a pizza party for them.
