Burger Lounge — Restaurant in San Diego

I pick this place frequently because of CONSISTENCY compared to many other places that can deliver the whole package, but NOT w/ consistency for the return customer. This is the name of the game in terms of my loyalty to a restaurant. This place gives me reason to go far less to sit-down restaurants, like nearby Fidel's, Jacal's, Thai, Italian. Is B. Lounge perfect? No. Do they have personnel that are quick to fix it w/o attitude? Yes. Last night, another set of perfect burgers/fries but then we ordered their new/temporary offered shake. We finished our meal and by his time it became very crowded, but I went ahead and ordered the shake. Five, ten, fifteen minutes went by... kind of too unreasonable a wait for one shake. A nice employee came by to clean tables and I asked her the status. With a smile, she came back in less than three minutes with the shake in-hand. I picked this place for my birthday dinner when my family laughed and said I should pick a nice, sit-down restaurant. For it, I had a perfect, quaint dinner on their patio. Since then, we went to birthday dinners for my family members a sit-down restaurants and service and consistency at those places were a flop, not to mention restaurant staff rudeness. Now we go to Burger Lounge several more times a year, simply for birthdays! ;). I just hope they continue to train their employees of being extra courteous, unpretentious, friendly and available when...

We stopped by The Burger Lounge in Paseo Del Sur for takeout last night. The Burger Lounge is a fast casual American restaurant specializing in grass fed, grass-finished beef. The cashier greeted us warmly and we took advantage of a 25% off special, which made the burgers more affordable.

The California lounge burger was topped with smoked bacon, fresh avocado, lettuce, tomato, and pickles with a slice of cheddar and sauce. The burger was a great portion size and the variety of flavors and textures went well together.

The Truffle mushroom Swiss burger was topped with a truffle aioli, a layer of fresh arugula, and crispy onions. The rich truffle mushroom flavor was prominent with the creamy Swiss cheese. The flavor was a bit one dimensional for my taste, so I’d try another burger or fresh salad next time.

The half and half onion rings and fries came in a huge stack! The onion rings were crisp and the fries were a nice bite.

The interior of the restaurant was clean, bright, and family friendly with plenty of seating for kids and groups. Overall, The Burger Lounge is a nice, fast casual spot and a solid choice for...

Absolutely 5 stars. The service was wonderful, my food was delicious, and the little details truly added up. I don't eat burgers often, and I stay clear of fast food, but today I was craving some meat, so I stopped by this Burger Lounge and was greeted by a pleasant crew. I ordered a standard burger for take out, and was surprised (and stoked!) When the cashier asked if I wanted utensils, napkins, or condiments with my food. In an extremely wasteful country, I found this, honestly, stunning. (I can't tell you how many times I've returned plastic utensils or condiments I know I won't use and been given an awkward look, only for the cashier to throw the items away!) Additionally, I was offered water while I waited for my food, which I was served in a reusable cup. These little details truly set a place apart from the competition. My burger was delicious, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful that I didn't realize until the last bite that there was no cheese (and I LOVE cheese). Great experience. The restaurant was clean inside and out. Highly recommend this location...
