Choice Juicery — Restaurant in San Diego

I've been going to Choice Juice for years but I moved a couple times in recent years. Today I went out of my way to visit this location when I was sick. Choice juice claims you can order online but you cannot order online.... you must pay in the store... Since they advertised you can pay online I didn't bring my card with me... I called shop bc I asked if I could pay another way... they told me I could pay with Door Dash... I spent 15 mins trying to figure it all out and then another 15 mins installing the app again and ordering what I wanted. When I went to check out it insited I had to do delivery.... they are repaving the asphalt in front of my apt so I cannot do delivery nor did I want to pay the fees when I drove all the way over here. I asked manager how I could pay I just wanted to pay and wanted my juice since I'm so ill. She said I could pay cash when she knows I didn't bring cash... I asked if they could just give me the juice then since they wouldn't let me pay for it and she said no. I was a loyal customer for years at the Solana Beach and the Encinitas locations. These juices are expensive and they just don't have any customer loyalty. Also the juices are not fresh. I think this was a good thing bc they were so overpriced and not fresh. Choose another juice spot that cares about customer service and has fresh squeezed juice. UPDATE - company finally admitted it it NOT my phone and they were WRONG! They don't allow door dash orders to be picked up you must pay the delivery fee and have it delivered even if they are doing construction on your driveway and you can't get deliveries... They insited it was my phone and my fault over and over but now they admit that hey we're wrong and didn't know their own system..... I still cannot pay for my juice...

First I will start by saying we visit this location often and live nearby. Typically all the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and all the items I've ever purchased have been top quality. On this day my daughter and I went in and we asked for a banana protein muffin and an acai bowl to be split into two bowls. The girl working there looked confused at the request but still accommodated us.

When the bowl came out my half was still unblended with numerous large frozen strawberries still chillin in the bowl . I let the girl know, and the look on her face was like I had just asked her for a ride to the airport. She said "it happens", and that she could fix it but it would take a while... she was very clearly annoyed. I felt bad for even mentioning it.

The manager, Gonzo, didn't hesitate and kindly said he was going to remake it and that it was no problem at all. We really appreciated his prompt and friendly demeanor and he did it in such a way that didn't make us feel bad for bringing it to their attention. Five stars to Gonzo for his patience and...

I immediately changed lanes to turn into the shopping center when I noticed the CHOICE JUICERY sign from the road!

I LOVE the location in Carlsbad village but didn’t know they had one here too! I’m so thankful to have stumbled on this gold mine of vegan, healthy DELICIOUSNESS!! My favorite bowl is the WARRIOR or the Spicy Amor with granola- The prepared food is delicious too!

Today I went with the SUNTUNA ROLL- so glad I did- the spicy variety of flavors this roll offers were amazing! I swear I could “taste the MADE WITH LOVE goodness” All of my cells are rejoicing!

This location is so cute- I decided to do a little journaling in their cozy corner after I ate! Stoked to find this haven of consciousness this afternoon :)
