This sushi spot is a great option for a speedy lunch or casual dinner. Their hour's are great: even opeb in-between L & D! They won't blow your mind w/ culinary innovation, but you get fresh, decent sushi in a clean & friendly atmosphere.

The miso soup was a satisfying starter, hitting the spot with its savory warmth. The tempura was a bit standard but the gyoza pulled up their rating, but all still enjoyable. The sushi rolls were fresh BUT a little underl-constructed, nice choices.

The the service & convenience are the best. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything came out quickly. Plus, with a good selection of draft and bottled beers, it's was a relaxing and hassle-free experience.

Came in on a Thursday evening around 6:30 pm. The restaurant didn't look particularly busy, and we were sat at the sushi bar. The person seating us gave us waters, menus, and then we heard nothing else. For at least 10-15 minutes we sat at the sushi bar with no service. The sushi chef gave us a half-hearted hello, and we were not helped otherwise. Waited for awhile & then decided to try the other sushi place down the street. This location changes frequently, and I will understand why, when Sushi Ren is inevitably replaced by something else. I'd rather give my business elsewhere. I have eaten here twice and both times were a disappointment. When I arrived, I asked for a happy hour menu and the server said they don't have one but that everything is 20% off. He did not mention a time cut-off nor did he tell me it was only restricted to specific items. By the time a server came to take my order, it was two minutes past the cut-off. I told the manager that I was never told about the cut-off time, and she said she couldn't do anything about it.
