WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER I’ve lived in this area for over six years, and this Chick-fil-A has always been my go-to location. I usually stop by once a month, and the service has always been great until this visit. This visit really made me consider to not come back again. What I experienced was, without a doubt, the worst customer service I’ve ever had at any Chick-fil-A. I do understand that I arrived about five minutes before closing, and I truly wasn’t trying to make anyone’s night harder. I had just driven all the way from Anaheim, and I was exhausted. I only stopped to grab food for my dad, who asked me to pick it up last minute. I tried to keep things simple and polite, but I was met with unnecessary attitude from the start. At the drive-thru window, I noticed I was charged for the wrong item. I politely asked about the missing soda, and the woman at the window who had blonde hair and appeared to be the manager seemed visibly irritated. She didn’t even offer basic customer service like a simple “Hi” or “How are you?” The entire interaction felt cold, rushed, and like she was just going through the motions. I then asked another employee if I could speak to the manager. She told me the manager had stepped out. When I asked again, she said something along the lines of, “It’s homecoming weekend and we’re closing in five minutes.” She was also giving me attitude as like she tries to ditch me I was so frustrated, I barely remember the exact wording but the message was very clear: they didn’t want to deal with me. Then she said, “You can leave a Yelp review,” which made me feel completely dismissed and unimportant. That same employee then began raising her voice at me, which made things even worse. And when the blonde woman (the manager) returned, she looked at me and said “Are you for real?” with a sarcastic and confrontational tone. It was incredibly unprofessional and shocking. At that point, I was overwhelmed and honestly very upset. I said something back that I’m not proud of, and then I drove off. I’m normally a very patient person, and I work in customer service myself—in both food service and now in banking so I know how hard this job can be. But this level of disrespect, especially after a long day and long drive, really pushed me past my limit. I completely understand people have rough shifts or personal stress, especially near closing. But I truly hope this situation can be taken seriously and used as a coaching opportunity. Leadership means being able to stay professional even when you’re tired or...
Read moreMy grandma went in there the other day and called me to share her story. My grandma is a widower and lives by herself. She goes to this location a couple times a week. Usually she takes her food back home but once in a while she will stay to eat. This day she decided to eat there. She mentioned to the person taking her order that she has dentures and needed to see what she could eat with them. The person taking her order was a woman named Andrea. My grandma said Andrea suggested the pretzel sandwich because my grandma said she wanted something different than what she usually gets. My grandma was hesitant because she has tried other restaurants pretzel sandwiches and the bun was always to hard for her. Andrea assured her that yours was reallt soft but my grandma was still hesitant and decided to go with her usual Chick-fil-a sandwich combo. My grandma said Andrea was cleaning some tables and went and talked to another lady and came up to her with something in a wrapper. Andrea gave her a pretzel bun to try so she could see if it was soft enough for her. My grandma was super thankful but told Andrea she didn't want to get her in trouble for giving away free food. Andrea said it was OK because she asked another woman named Caitlin who said it was OK. So thank you to Andrea for helping my grandma and thank you to Caitlin for allowing my grandma to try the other bun for free. My grandma loved it and said it is soft enough for her to try on...
Read moreWe frequent this Chick Fil A often as we live near by and it is a quick and easy option for this busy mom of three. I have always felt that the people that work here are thoughtful, kind and provide great customer service. I mean that's what Chick Fil A is known for, right? Today was no exception. I picked up my kids from VBS and stopped by to pick up lunch before heading home. My daughter went in to order her kids meal using a free kids meal card she had and I placed a mobile order for the rest of our family. My son accompanied my daughter into the restaurant and while standing in line decided he wanted a chicken sandwich instead. He came out to ask if he could order one and I was in the middle of telling him "no", I had already ordered food, when a young man (slim, brunette hair with a blue shirt… manager??) delivering food to curbside cars overheard and called my son BY HIS NAME. He asked my son if he wanted a sandwich and what kind. My son followed him in and was treated to that sandwich he had asked me for. I hesitate to share this kind of review bc I don't want people to take advantage of this establishment, but wow, how could I not write a review about my experience. My son got a glimpse of what it means to be kind and I am so thankful. I wish I had thought to go in and ask for this young man's name. I love this...
