Went there to recently to work remotely while my car was being worked on across the street.
The owner Cano, was happy to let me stay as long as wanted while worked and sipped coffee. The atmosphere is super chill, not too loud. With a few tables and a nook in the back with some comfy green chairs where he hosts his podcast. Black and white color scheme with pops of green color. I dig it.
The coffee he suggested was the Mushroom Oatmilk which tasted like warm Horchata. It's was tasty and super silky. already had a cup of coffee before left the house so declined the add shot but would have really liked to try his in-house roasted espresso. The coffee soda sounds really interesting; have to try it next time.
Over the course of the day and in-between customers, I got to know a little about Cano, his previous life, his podcast and his career path. Listening to him speak about coffee and his customers, it's clear that he has a real passion for this business, incredible drive, and looks to turn every customer into a friend. My boyfriend and I got a coffee from a cafe in the area that tasted so bitter and stale, and on our way home stopped by here to see if they could "fix" it. Instead, we tried a much better tasting coffee while having a pleasant conversation in the owner. The coffee took a bit to make, but it was made WITH LOVE. ("wait" meaning like... 3 minutes a coffee.
