Honestly, this picture can speak for itself. But I'm also going to help, because pictures always forget to provide context.
This pizza looks like someone dropped it, face down, on the floor and let it cool for a minute before scraping it off.
There's less cheese on this than I'd expect to find on a single slice.
It looks like they dipped a wet paintbrush into watered-down sauce and gave my pizza a single, thin coat.
Also? It was cold when it arrived. If it had arrived late, I'd still expect it to be warm because of the insulated bags they carry the pizzas in. But it wasn't even late. This might be the quickest service I've ever had from this store, so I'm not even sure what to make of it. They couldn't have been lucky enough to have a sausage and bacon pizza that someone had dropped on the floor an hour before. I don't understand how it had time to get cold, unless my previous theory about it being dropped on the floor was correct.
And the Domino's app tells me someone did a quality check on this thing! I don't know who was responsible for allowing this travesty to leave the store, but he or she clearly is not doing their job. There is no way a human being could look at this and say, "yes, a customer would be happy to eat this", much less to think I'd be willing to pay for it.
I called the store immediately to get this thing replaced. Here's hoping the next one is any better. If it's not, they can rest assured that I will not be ordering from Domino's again. This piece of dumpster garnish they delivered to me counted for two...
Read moreJust ordered 3 large pizzas using their $7.99 3 topping coupon for carry-out. Now I order Dominos just about 3x a month, but from the San Diego downtown location off 6th Ave. I have an account with them and I order quite frequently. This is one of the few times I ordered from this College Ave location. For some reason this location skimped out on the toppings. For my own pizza, I ordered jalapeno, tomatos and pepperoni for my toppings. There was barely any jalapenos or pepperoni on the pizza. Then when I took my first bite, OMG, there was something completely 'off' about the marinara sauce. It did not taste good, it was like bad quality. And then the pizza seemed as if it wasn't even baked all the way, it was a bit doughy still, but normally when I get my pizza from the other Dominos in downtown, it's HOT and the crust is so crispy with that garlic butter glaze with seasonings and parmesan cheese added to it. This was not it. It was dry, the sauce was not good, there was way more tomatos on it than the other toppings. I'm disappointed because I wanted my family to enjoy it-- they said to me 'you should have just went to Little Caesars down the street'. I know I'm not going to order from this location again, but tonight's order was pretty disappointing enough for me to write a whole...
Read moreWhenever I talk to the employees all i just sense such a condescending complex as if they are almost doing me a favor by doing their jobs. Probably because its mainly college workers as it’s at a college, but that doesnt excuse the fact that I just had to reorder my entire order and go into the building to get my food when I chose delivery. Ididn’t even get a refund after cancelling my delivery that didn’t even LEAVE THE BUILDING until an hour after it was made. Upon angrily going into the store and having to reorder, I was just met with bad attitude and lack of understanding about my frustrations. The location istwo feet away from where I wanted it delivered. Only reason I chose delivery is because I’m picking it up for my friend who broke his leg and is literally like handicapped right now. Didn’t get a refund for the cold food that left an hour after it was ready for delievery. And no this place gets no business so that’s out of...
